I don't see all the drama over the "That's so gay" line in his latest movie. I hear that term everyday and not just from homophobes.

Like I said - I wasn't gonna see it before the controversy - not gonna see it now. If I'd wanted to see it, the comment probably wouldn't be enough to keep me away.

do i think the writers could have come up with a less offensive way to make their character to seem like a foot-in-his-mouth type - YES

do i think the film should be boycotted or censored - NO - if u wanted to see it b4 - by all means.

What if he means gay as in jolly or fun? I've seen plenty of movies/tv shows from like the 50's and what not use it that way.

This has to be one of the funniest discussions I have ever read. I find it quite amusing that a discussion is taking place about the appropriate use of the term "gay" on a website that has subject lines like "Eminems ASS" and links to a website called "Broke Straight Boys" Come on!
