Ron Paul Predicted Russian War

I am still disappointed that this man didn't get the nomination. He is so well-schooled on Foreign Policy and even more so the Economy. Everything that he has been predicting has essentially came true. Shame on the Republican Base for being too ignorant to elect him.

Looking back, what was I thinking even believing Paul stood a chance, though? The GOP is so far gone, it's a lost cause. And we can thank FOX News for helping their elderly voters along the "right track".

I have argued with so many Paul supporters who are frustrated with the Republican Party, since I decided to leave the GOP. I tell them that if they are disgusted with the Party, then they need to let it die and leave it. I have advised them to either register Democrat, Green, Constitution, Libertarian, or Independent. However, they still argue back and seem to think for whatever reason that they can "educate" the GOP voters and in their words "use the Party". What a joke. All they are doing is prolonging this process the longer they stay in the Party. The GOP isn't changing for anyone.

Yes, Ron Paul had some crazy ideas, but he was the only honest Republican candidate who challenged the insanity that has hijacked the Republican party. He made McCain and all the rest of those fools look like idiots. The man is sincere, honest, and almost voteable because of his virtues that would restore dignity to the office of President.

They need to recognize what I did while still at OSU: the Religious Right has seized the GOP and shares it with "neo-cons" who are better described as cryptofascists. But the Democrats are too into regulating every facet of life that I saw no course but to go Libertarian.

If Rep. Paul would play the D.C. game some, he'd be listened to more. Being right isn't enough; you have to scratch backs.

From what I can tell, Ron Paul is more Libertarian(I think that's the right term) then Republican, and that, along with the fact that he's an older gentleman, as well as with the crazy ideas, sorta screwed him with the main Republican voters these days.... evangelicals and neo-cons.
