After the recent blowout on The View, Trump comes on the attack against Elizbitch Hasselbeck.

The Donald tells TV's Extra, "On this one I think Rosie should win. I think anybody that's against the war in Iraq is the winner of the fight, because to justify the war in Iraq - only an imbecile could do that."

well that doesn't make any sense since ppl don't know to tune in to see a fight before it's happened.. if they were going to stage a fight, i'd think they'd manage to get it on the air before it was too late to make any difference in the ratings... nice try tho..

i think the main thing was rosie was hurt and she thought despite a difference in opinion elizabeth was friend. but she wouldn't even defend her. that was a really shitty thing to do. that is why rosie is so angry.

I'm not really a huge fan of Rosie, but I don't undestand why she gets hated on so much.

As extreme as her opinion is, there is a lot of truth to her statements and she is usually right when she gets in fights with people like Elizabeth who have selective hearing and pick and choose the facts and information they hear and use.

I just think a lot of people are insecure and threatened by her because she has valid points and puts the truth out there regarding what is truly going on and there are people who don't like to hear it.


With that said...I think there are times where she is extremely inappropriate. It is usually when it concerns gay and lesbian issues. I find she tends to find a connection to gay bashing in any possible incident she can. When the whole Kelly Ripa and Clay Aiken thing happened....her telling him no to touching her face had nothing to do with his sexuality and it was in no way hinted that there was. But Rosie somehow finds a way to make that a homophobic issue.....

We can rest assured that there is plenty going on behind the scenes.
Today Barbara said Rosie was off because of Kellys' bday. On Mondays show Kellys' parents were in the audience and Rosie said they were all going to dinner that night to celebrate Kellys' bday.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. If Rosie were to quit she might be sued for breach of contract. She's been through too many lawsuits already.
Elizabeth probably doesn't have people clamoring at her door with other options.
Rosies' convictions are so strong it's doubtful she will face Elizabeth accross that table and pretend everything is honkey-dorey for three more weeks.
Todays show was a lackluster bomb. Rosie should have been there because the segment about foster care children has been her baby all along.
It wouldn't be surprising if tomorrows show is a rerun, just to bide time until the dust settles.

Obviously, it's not because Rosie is a "loud, fat, lesbian who attacks innocent, Christian Elisabeth". It's simply because of her methods and the ways in conversing with others. I am so sick of people taking any minority traits as a handicap (ie. race, sexual orientation..), those so-called "race cards" are getting so old.

She wasn't playing any "cards." Do you not read the comments on YouTube on any one of the clips where Rosie discusses her political views? People who don't agree with her immediately go to "Dyke!" "Fat bitch!" "Cunt!" "Elisabeth is hot!"

So she has a point and isn't using the sexual orientation "card." She's saying that that's how it's always portrayed. She's the loud mouth lesbian, Elisabeth is hot!

You can say that again. Did you see the episode where she suggested that the black community's outrage regarding Imus was due to the fact that they felt "empowered" by Barack Obama running for president? Oy.

I do believe she's referring to Bush and his administration as the terrorists, not the troops. [Rosie that is]

She definitely is. If people would actually take the time to do their research, they'd see that she visits veterans' hospitals. She's appalled by the scare tactics and lies used to dupe kids into joining the military. She says nothing but positive and supportive things about the troops and their families. Unfortunately, the media often has an agenda, whether it's misleading the public for political reasons or misleading the public for financial reasons...

It disgusts me to see conservatives spin this in such a way to make it sound like anti-war people are nonsupportive of our troops. It's not about supporting the troops; they're just there doing a job mandated by the administration. Actually, the anti-war people very much support the troops, which is why they want them home alive out of harm's way not fighting an invisible enemy.

Rosie is loud, obnoxious and sometimes a little bit much - but I am a huge fan. She's a good voice for not only the United States, but the world.

I don't think this had anything to do with May being sweeps month - at all. Rosie wouldn't have called it quits if it were. But the split screen on part of the shows director... that may very well have been a sweeps stunt, and an incredible low. It's so sad really.

Rosie rocks. Plain and Simple.
