The Netherlands still has the Royal family? i'm surprised.

How many European countries still have the royal family as the head of state ?

I really have nothing "bitchy" to say about the royal wedding; I'm just sick of the constant media coverage over the last two or three months. It's like every single time I turn on a television or go to a news media website it's always there. I don't expect it to go away anytime soon, either. Soon we'll be hearing about Kate going out in public without makeup or in sweatpants.

But Spain, Monaco, Belgium, Denmark, Norway and Sweden still have a Royal Family.
The Dutch love the Royal Family, especially Princess Maxima she is very charming and soooo beautifull!! And Queen Beatrix is very populair.

There are also the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg which are monarchies but not kingdoms.

In which case you could also include Vatican City in the list. That's ruled by the Bishop of Rome and is a theocracy.

This wedding was boring, cold, quick, to traditional, no emotions and the kiss was terrible!!!!!!!

The Dutch Royal Wedding from Maxima & Alexander was the best!!
