Running

Good choice! I started running myself this year and it feels so great. I always look forward to my running sched which is 3 times a week.

I follow a beginner's program which is basically a run-walk thing. Main goal of what I'm following is in 12 weeks you get trained to run for 30 minutes.

Don't overdo it as you'll stress your body out and might over train. That's not good. What you want is to work your body and give it time to heal. I learned that the hard way.

Running is ace! I don't do it too much 'cause I lose weight easily and few months of running turns me into a stick figure.

Used to run constantly when I was in high-school, it kept me sane when my life was a mess. Love it.

All the vital advice has been given already. Buy yourself some quality shoes and don't try and become a Marathon Man overnight. Enjoy.
