what in the actual fuck?????? the winner went home tonight. well, Katya is the winner of All Stars 2

Alaska has been killing it all season long but at the end Ru chooses the winner. The fans really love Katya right now but I'm not sure she belongs in a spot next to Ru and Chad Michaels just yet. I think Alaska fits more perfectly in that spot but well see.

Alaska showed her ass tonight, she was tapping into Phi Phi levels of unlikeability & I'm not even mad at the elimination decision... Because now viewers see plain as day, no excuses what BS is at play.

The facade was shattered long ago. Alaska is the producers' favorite from episode 2. Rolaskatox is going to be the center of a shit-storm, and rightfully so. They are acting like a middle-school clique and voting off everyone else despite the fact that some of them have been in the bottom umpteen times. In fact, Detox broke "the agreement" that they went after Alyssa for in this episode. If they were to follow that agreement - which was never binding, but they didn't like Alyssa's decision because it threatened them - Detox would have given Alaska the boot.
The farce of a competition was over from that very second episode. Ru wants Alaska, and that's probably the best choice for Ru's line of winners in the long run. Alaska has that je ne sais quoi, "star" persona that would make for a "good" winner with long lasting fame (i.e., no more Tyra Sanchezes or Bibi Zahara Benets who don't do anything to "honor" the crown Ru has placed upon their heads).

That is so right. Ru is talking about The Drag Hall of Fame, so that is not a place to be for an amateur... is assume, let me tell you! So, sorry to see Alyssa go, but she is too much of a clown, but a brilliant one. Roxy is great, but not that great and Katya is an oddball...there is something about her...could it be, that s/he is a russian?! Detox is of course absolutely brilliant, but she seems somehow weak, idk.
So, that leaves just Alaska, so I think she really is the winner! And I like that, she is a real drag queen after all...like Rupaul and Chad

I said it back in Season 5, I totally understand why Sharon Needles won her season after auditioning once and why Alaska auditioned 10+ times to not win her original season & now have to have to be subject to such scripted buffoonery to earn a win her 2nd time around.

Here's another thing, this weeks lip sync Detox shows her ass and does the lip thing. They got old in S5 and yet she wins wtf??? Seriously liked Katya's synch better I'm really going off RuPaul the more and more I see each season he does it to make himself relevant not these young/older gay guys working their asses of week in week out as their Drag personas. America's Next Drag Superstar and Allstar will always and forever be RuPaul Charles!!!!

I'm not buying it. If it was all about RuPaul we really haven't seen that much of her this season. She really cut back out on her screen time due to new format, and if its all about her she could of nixed this new format. These queens are veterans and have been touring the world it will be stupid to try and make them change anything because that is there brand. If you go and see any of these queen live you are getting what you are seeing.

I blame Phi Phi for this mess. Think about it, if Phi Phi hadn't talked shit about Detox and Tatianna's performance in the stand-up challenge Tatianna probably would have chosen to send Roxxxy home if she won and then the double win would have meant a double elimination too (which it should have been). With Roxxxy gone the whole Alaska and Detox sending more talented queens home to spare their dead-weight friend wouldn't have happened.

I liked the finale and the last performance. The crowning of Alaska was predictable and underwhelming, but much deserved. By the end of the episode though I wanted Detox to win, I know she had zero percent of winning but she really impressed me this season. Meanwhile all the Katya fans are really pissed off. Oh well.

Honestly out of the final 3 any could have justifiably won but it does seem that all stars is a show to allow favorites who should/could have one their season had it not been for Jinx and Sharon trying to think who they will line up for S3 to win in a few years. I really like Alaska but I have issues about the judges with her. She walked on yes the make up and wig were spot on as Carson said hell from a distance you may have to have another look to check if it is a woman or a man in drag. But the dress to be it was the same as the red one worn by Chi Chi which Michelle read as basic. It remained me of Adore's outfit in the first episode she read to filth. She also wore body paint yet again and had it been any other queen they would have been pulled over hot coals if they did it. So personally I think the blatant favoritism of the judges have put people off Alaska as well never mind the whole not voting your weak friends off when it's deserved.

The only point of Allstars 2 was so Alaska could be a Drag Race winner. That's because Alaska right after RuPaul makes the most money out of all Drag Racers. Naturally Alaska is signed to RuPaul. The show was nothing but a huge promotion for Alaska.
