RuPaul's Drag Race - Season 2

I adore Pandora. I wanted her to win. :(

I don't care if Juju wins or not, I love her. The moment she's out, I'll just watch the show for Ru.

Raven is really good and all but I'm in Team Nice.
 
I think Raven is going to pull it off. It seems she can do it all, a real chameleon. Her seeming obsession with Tati does not faze me, because it is all in the editing. For all we know, she is responding to questions from the producer behind the camera. That's how those interviews work. On the other hand, maybe it is real. Who knows?

Juju is a great person, but her lip-synch is sloppy (“peas and carrots, peas and carrots”) and she is rather hit-and-miss. When she is on, she is on-FIRE, but when she is off... it's painful to watch.

I think Tyra (the other Tyra) is just coasting on her looks. She is vapid and arrogant and bitchy and shallow. RuPaul, I believe, is looking for substance in addition to style. Tyra can't deliver that.

Tatiana is just too… uh. I don’t know. I want to like her, but can't. She is good at drag, very pretty, but she also seems rather rough around the edges. A little unprofessional in the way she carries herself, like when Raven won last weeks challenge and Tati lipped “fuck” and looked like somebody just kicked her in the balls. She is short on grace. And remember how she actually refused RuPaul’s "reading" challenge. WTF? You keep talking about how you are going to 'bring it to win it' but then you won't playfully insult the other girls... to their faces? Sheesh.

PS: I totally agree that Pandora got robbed last week. She was not my fav, although I did like her, and I think she did better than Juju.
 
I hope you're right BearBoi... I pretty much agree with every point you made too.

I'll miss Pandora Boxx...she was my fav but I knew she wouldn't win. Pretty funny although I thought she really did need to step up the campy humorous side to her a notch or 2. She should have lasted longer but that F'n Santino had it in for her all along...so I knew she was gonna be history.

I'd love to see Raven win it...she brings it every time, is well spoken, and has style and class as well. My only problem with her is she looks rather man-ish in drag...kind of a severe drag look like Nina Flowers last season (whom I loved too!) I'm not sure if Ru will go for that style or opt for pretty...like herself. Out of drag...Raven is a really good looking and sexy guy, good sense of humor too...major plus...a bit arrogant and condescending but, eh...I'd be totally into him. ;)

Tati's drag look is always trampy and trashy. She's beautiful...but that's it. Her whiny bitchy personality sucks.

Tyra is simple minded and her Beyonce infatuation is getting old and tiresome. She can deliver the look...but has zero personality and charisma.

I think Juju does awesome at the lip-syncing...she really emotes the songs and she has a great overall look too. I wouldn't be surprised to see her place top 3.


Really though...I can't help but compare these drag racers to last season...Nina, Ongina, Bebe and Shannel...all much more impressive and memorable imo.

I can't help but love this show anyways...
 
Is it just me or in every episode there's someone doing the splits? Happening alot this season

Its purely Raven/Tati driven now, Tyra does seem to have 'mellowed' out. Good job producers for making her look less Beyonce obsessed and obnoxious!

Maybe there's a reason for that? The producers and rupaul are setting Tyra to win abd the cleaning up of her bitchiness on the second half of the show produces a redemptive quality to the audience...
 
That Untucked episode was hilarious, especially with the bashing of the moms. Tatianna's mom was being a bossy diva. And that piercing that Raven's mom had was disgusting. Raven's rude comments had me dying. :rotflmao:
 
I'm watching the "Golden Gals" episode on LOGO right now.
 
Tyra HAS GOT TO GO !!!! I hope Tatianna gets to the end. JuJubee .. needs to work on remembering the words.

There is something really hot about Santino, isn't there? I also thought Pandora was really quirky cute and yummy when out of drag. He has some truly beautiful eyes! I'll be okay with anybody but Tyra winning!
 
I thought Pandora was cute out of drag too, basically out the guys are. Except Mystique and Morgan.

There was a new episode tonight. Tyra won, Raven was safe, JuJu & Tatianna had to LSFL. Tati was sent home.

Not surprising, she was the weakest amongst the final four. I liked Tati, but she was too stubborn and never took constructive criticisms well. Being "pretty" just isn't enough nor is what the competition was about. She has a lot to learn still and never matched the other girls with her fashion choices.

I really dislike Raven, Tati really explained herself well in the "Untucked" show. She had her mind set on who Tati was and never gave her a chance. Raven is a bitch and not even in a good, fun-loving way.

Tyra is just whatever, but does bring it for the runway. Nontheless still blah. So JuJu for the win!
 
As much of a cunt that Raven is, she deserved to win that challenge instead of Tyra. Raven's looks were more impressive than Tyra's. Ru Paul seriously wants Tyra to win, that the girls expressions showed that they were tired of it. Even though Tatianna was inexperienced, she kept it real and didn't bullshit with people. So I'm now rooting for JuJubee and Raven.
 
Tyra rocked it..every single outfit was incredible!! Raven is a fucking instigator..Juju is cool but I dunno.
