RuPaul's Drag Race - Season 2

Tyra is a great drag queen but her personality and attitude are trash. She fell asleep in the freaking workroom while everyone else was working. She should not win for that reason alone. He shouldn't be rewarded for being a brat

i like it. she was never the pretty girl in drag, but she's always a spectacle, i love her costumes and look. acquired taste i guess.
 
i think tyra's gonna win, not raven..though i was hoping for raven or jujube to win,,

i still think rupaul prefer a more feminine queen as oppose to a more dramatic, theatric queen. like in season 2, i don't see any edgy queens like i did on season 1.

kinda makes sense though, rupaul is more 'real' compared to chi chi larue for example. rupaul is always glam, and in ep 10, we saw bebe again, as glam as ever,, then it makes sense whey rupaul picked bebe over nina flowers...

I'm going to call bullshit on how this season ended.
I think we all knew Tyra was going to win, Ru favored her all season, so it wasn't a HUGE surprise but I think Raven was robbed. She might have been a cunt all season but the girl worked it out. Tell me she didn't look the best tonight on the runway in that diva bitch, gothic-esque, Sally Bowles ensemble. I think Tyra is talented and quite obviously gorgeous but did she deserve to win? I don't think so.

Leave it to Raven to exit the show with one more bitchy ass comment. I loved it.

And how about the reunion special?!
Sonique is in the process of becoming an actual woman, Tatianna whined, Mystique looked a hot tranny mess, Morgan was less drag more man in a Rihanna outfit, and the hilarious Pandora Boxx won Miss Congeniality. All-in-all a great show I think.

I agree!! Tyra was favored by Rupaul all season long. She let it out in the reunion with the comment about the wedding episode. The next drag superstar should have been Raven. Sorry but, it was more like Tyra just wanted pitty for her personal life situation. Even JuJubee would have more star power than Tyra. And yeah, that last runway show, All santino needed to say was "JUJUB your dress is crap!" I don't see how Tyra won with a bathing suit! At least that is what I thought it was! I am going to stop watching the show since it seems to be fixed! :mad:

so obvious tyra will win...the way the show was edited, they ppropped her to win and redeemed her after the 2nd half of the show....and although i rooted for raven, her behavious is not helping shit...writing that on the mirror was a low blow...she is so gonna gget it in the reunion cause she talk shit about others the most. can't wait for reunion.

i havent watched the reunion special yet... WTF?! sonique? i thought tatiana would be the ne who wanna transition...damn...well, sonique was kinda hot as a guy....

I'm not exactly happy that Tyra won but I sure am happy that Raven didn't win. She is just bitchy for no reason and I'm really happy that Tatianna was so rude to her during the reunion because she deserved it. She deserved more in my opinion.

I'm sad Jujubee didn't win. And we really didn't see enough of her during the reunion in my opinion. But I have to question: why is she up for a NewNowNext Award and Tyra isn't?

I think Juju is one of those people who are really smart, but they suck at taking tests. She so often screwed up on stage, and left everybody scratching their heads because they knew she could do so much better.

I think Raven’s attitude may have hurt her. Ru has said repeatedly, “I do sassy, not bitchy.” I think Ru has a low tolerance for bitchiness or rudeness.

That said, I do believe there was some serious favouritism going on from early in the competition. Ru let Tyra get away with shit I’m sure anybody else would have been bitch-slapped for. Remember when Tyra was sleeping on the couch while the rest of her team was working their asses off? All the girls complained about her, Ru walked over, woke her up, and then… practically fluffed her pillow and put her back to sleep. I was like, “Whaaaaaaaaat?!” I also think the fact that Tyra kept talking about his son had an impact on Ru, who is very much about family.

Attitude aside, I maintain the believe that Raven’s on-stage abilities far outstrip Tyras. Tyra is a beautiful ‘girl’ and can wear a dress well, but Raven is a whole package of experience and versatility.
 
Didn't the last episode seem a little off? Why was Ru having them make a video for a song he already has a video for? They didn't even show a final product like they did last season. The whole episode seemed really disorganized.
 
I was never a Tyra fan, Juju all the way. But being objective Tyra had the best outfit in the final ep by leaps and bounds and she WORKED RAVEN OUT in lipsync for your life so I can't be mad. She brought it when it was time to. Raven had the best 80's look but the gothic Liza Minelli thing looked too much like other things she had already worn. Tyra deserved it over the other 2 for bringing it in the end. Juju let me down alot in the finale.
 
Tyra did shine during the finale, especially with that green swimsuit. I agree with who posted it before, I could have sworn Tati would be the one who wanted to be a woman. I'm glad that Tati got in Raven's face about her attitude.
 
I'm mad, but not surprised, Tyra won. Ru just let her favoritism win out in the end.

Dynasty scene: Jujubee was over the top and hammed it up too much. Tyra cannot act and was just terrible. Raven won that round.

80s mirror outfits: clearly another win for Raven, as she looked the best and was the only one who looked 80s (understandably).

Catfight: I thought Jujubee looked the best ("I feel like Lucy Liu" was funny :lol:). Tyra pulling off Raven's wig was a shitty move. :rolleyes:

Runway: I thought Tyra won that round, but only because Raven (burn those fucking thigh-highs :badgrin:) and Juju looked worse. :badgrin: I wasn't thrilled by Tyra's dress. [-X

Lip-synch: Tyra was able to steal the eyes of the judges, but both their performances were equally as good. But, the competition was already won by Raven. The LSFYL wasn't necessary.

The judges and Ru already agreed that Raven was the best and Tyra was unpolished and hood. :badgrin: Ru being "undecided" was just a smoke cloud, so she could ultimately hand it to Tyra. Next season, they need to change the judging so it isn't solely Ru's decision.
