RuPaul's Drag Race season 4 girls; What do you think?

Anyone know why the reunion is on April 30th? I see 5 queens are left, so shouldn't there be just 3/4 episodes left?

They'll probably break for a week before the reunion, I'm guessing. Some shows do that occassionally I think.

After last night's episode it's apparent why. One queen is coming back, so that'll extend the show for a week.

I'm betting it's going to be Kenya. Willam, obviously got eliminated for a reason but who knows. Jiggly, stay home please.

sharon wins again! i loved her performance. shes my favourite in every way, and frankly, i cant see anyone else winning the whole thing.

didnt like chads performance, but her runway was breathtaking.

latrice is fierce, but sometimes shes just not bringing it. luckily, she did during her lipsynch.

dida is likable, but shes just way too unpolished. her performance was terrible and her wig on the runway was a tragedy. im surprised they let her stay this long.

phiphi doesnt have any class, style, talent, charisma, or a sense of humour, but they are keeping her around for the bitchery, and thats fine with me. but if she ends up winning the whole competition, im gonna be pissed. not that i think its likely. but im just sayin, if.

so, whos coming back? i want to see the princess again, and i think kenya was sent home too early. but both contestants were eliminated so far back, it really would be massively unfair. willem is the only one truly deserving another chance, but that would mean that she not only gets away with the rule-breaking, but she actually gets rewarded for it (by being able to skip a challenge). so my guess is jiggly or dida, and i think whoever comes back will be sent home again in the same episode. because at this point, every contestant is really strong (except for phiphi).

Sharon Needles: I initially (and still do) feel the win should have gone another direction, but I can't argue with this decision either. Sharon was able create a believable politician that still embodied her unique sense of humor. Her runway look was an inspired character, my only issue was it only made sense after she explained to the judges what she was going for. I'm happy that she won this challenge because it debunks the theory that she peaked too early in the competition; she's still got some tricks up her sleeves! Way to go Sharon!

Chad Michaels: I understand that an earnest, sweet drag queen doesn't make for prime-time TV, but the judges (again, Michelle in particular) really Don't give this one any slack! For the past several weeks Michelle's been asking her to deliver not-so-safe characters, so when Chad pulls out a hilarious pimp character out... she's still not liking it? Frankly, when has 'not being in character' ever been an asset to any other queen, or even Ru herself? I really do feel Chad should have won this week; her debate character was funny, and her runway stole the show this week! Heck that dress alone should have sealed the deal, as Santino said "It's the only one that read inauguration!"

Phi Phi O'Hara: In my opinion, here's where all the issues fellow contestants, judges, and viewers have with Phi Phi boils down to; she's a very humorless person. Weeks on end of her taking everything seriously/personally came back and bit her in the rear this week. I'm sure that 'the help' line was meant as a joke, but she presents herself so dour all the time that it came off very offensive and out of line. Her whole character seemed thrown together, and I believe that was do to her lack of any comedy chops as well as relying too much on props. Her runway outfit was great, although I will say her make-up paled compared to her magazine runway make-up, but read more "movie-star" than "potential president".

Latrice Royale: The problem this week was that she has such a commanding presence to her, and she didn't seem to know what to do with the attention/time given her; she seemed flustered by the whole thing (though not as much as Dida.) What really killed this for her was that runway look! It's an inauguration ball dear, our attention shouldn't be drown to a bedazzled pink corset! She turned it out for the lip sync, but she can't keep making these poor runway choices, especially when her three remaining competitors so routinely turn it out in comparison.

Dida Ritz:...Not surprised. She's never truly wowed the judges since her "Hot In Tuckahoe" performance, and the last few weeks she's just lucked out that two other girls did slightly worse. Long story short, this challenge simply highlighted the fact that it was one mediocre queen against four amazing queens. She didn't stand a chance.

I really can't say who I want to come back (frankly because Willam got DQ'd so she can't come back, and I don't feel anyone else deserves to!) If I had to guess, though, Kenya seems the most likely choice, so I'll go with the popular vote and say Kenya's getting the second shot. I don't like it, but I can't give an alternative short of no returnee!

First off, Dan Savage, you betta WORK in those heels!

Ok, now that that's out of the way...

I don't know that I agree that Sharon won THIS week. I mean, I'm happy for my severe queer either way, but I thought Chad out shined everyone - and that's saying a lot considering that I didn't think she'd come THIS far in the beginning.

Phi Phi's "help joke" stung, I have to admit. I'm not going to go as far as to call it racist as a friend said it was, but given that her personality bugs me anyway, it still came off like a bitter jab, rather than the reference we all knew it was.

I was actually mad at Latrice for her runway outfit but I am SO GLAD she turned it out and redeemed herself on the lip-sync!

As for Dida... it was her time to go. There was no way she was gonna be able to win, so now it's the best of the best + 1 more. My money is on Jiggly. But I WANT either Summers or The Princess to be the one to show up.

I'd like to see Willem come back. He's a bitch and a bit unlike-able, but is one of the most talented drag queens of this season. I don't care that he broke the rules. Hearing the other contestants complaining that he broke the rules... is utterly boring, and makes me realise that beneath the make-up they are all utterly conventional and pedestrian and predictable. Ooh, someone broke reality television rules - what a crime.

The best of this season: Sharon Needles, Willem, and Chad Michaels.

Phi Phi is truly an unpleasant, nasty person. I can only assume her hostility towards Willem comes from a deep insecurity, and the knowledge that relative to Willem she is ugly and lacks talent. she is cute as a boy, though. She should go with that angle, in my opinion.

My money's on Kenya coming back. Until this day I still remember that bit in the season trailer where Kenya was holding hands with the queens in a teal dress thanking them for being great friends. I still haven't seen that part of the show yet. Editing fail or probably just a deleted scene.

Willam, no. Jiggly, HELL NO. Princess? Meh, I don't see what everyone sees in her, she's great but not top 5 material in my opinion. I'd love Alisa Summers to come back but I don't see how that's fair for the first queen to leave to all of a sudden vie for the Top 5.

that actually would have me go from 'rolling my eyes' to 'rolling on the floor laughing'

Me too! Ru should do it as a joke like on the first episode and then have the real queen who is coming back step in.

In all honesty this week, much like this week's returnee, felt like a lackluster redo of the much more entertaining 'Jocks-in-Frocks' challenge. Like many others, I'm beginning to wonder if the final four had any real reason to worry about the returnee sending any of them home. Don't get me wrong; all four deserve to be there, but what's the point of creating drama like a returning competitor when she just goes right back out the door? Also, how cute were (most) of those daddy's? Phi Phi's and Chad's partners had my attention any time they were on screen! No surprise they were top two, they were the only ones who really ran with the whole drag idea (much like Manila and Alexis' jocks last season.)

Phi Phi O'Hara: Easily the winner, and not just by default like the magazine challenge. She looked just like her sister/mother...(how were they supposed to be related,)but her heartfelt confession and her partner's support is what really sealed the deal for her. I'm still not a fan, but this is easily the most I've liked Phi Phi!

Chad Michaels: Honestly, she came in second because the other three turned out so bad. Her partner was willing enough, and he was a sweetheart, but they really didn't stand out in any way. Chad's claws are coming out though, at least in the workroom. That banter with Sharon's partner, and even her jabs at Phi Phi have me wondering/hoping she's had enough of being the sweet queen. Pull out the b!tch guns for the finals, girl!!!!

Sharon Needles: I love Sharon, and this week hasn't changed my thoughts on her, but I could not root for her this week. Not that she was bad, her runway look was traditional Sharon fab, but her partner was just a jack-ass!!! You don't come in the workroom day one and start attacking others, especially a bunch of exhausted and cranky drag queens, expecting them to just be "in on the joke!" He was a nightmare to work with and watch, and frankly Sharon should thank heavens Ru generously granted her safety for the week, because her partner nearly ruined it for her!

Latrice Royale: Latrice looked great, her partner...not so much. He was (like "most" of the others) an absolute sweetheart to work with, in fact they seemed to hit it off the fastest, but his look was busted! The strip-tease (what little we saw) served to remind us that Latrice is not a "sexy" queen, and she really made no attempt to match her partner in appearance. She aced the lip sync again, but she's (almost suspiciously) lucked into two old-school,black woman songs, how long will that hold up? My guess is that unless Phi Phi messes up first, Latrice is going home next week.

Kenya Michaels:...Who cares? Her partner was so uninterested in the whole process I wondered why he even agreed to appear on the show! I wasn't that unimpressed with her lip sync until she ripped her wig off, and any minute chance she had at staying (let's face it, as soon as the Aretha Franklin music started it was over) went off with it!

I am not on the I hate Phi Phi bandwagon, but I am not a fan either. Someone on the RuPaul Facebook page posted a pic about 3-4 years old from Phi Phi's myspace page showing her mom and dad saying "so thankful to have a dad that supports EVERYTHING I do and EVERYTHING about me!" Girl can cry on cue more convincingly than Willam I will give her that.

Kenya's Dilf needs to impregnate me. Hot shit.

I DON'T GET WHY PEOPLE DESPISE PHI PHI!!!! Bitchy, check. Feisty, check. Pretty, check. A tad shady/bitter, check. MOST of these things are very common!!!

I LOVED Raja at the beginning of 3rd season, but the Heather thing definitely put me off - MORE SO than Phi Phi calling people out and being shady. AND lets face it - she is somewhat of a manipulator BUT shame on the weak who let themselves be manipulated! She has been pigeon-holed as the bitch but seriously what has she done that was SO wrong? Raven is bitchier and still adored.

BUT I DIGRESS- Because I don't even root for Phi Phi!

TEAM LATRICE! While I think Phi Phi is somewhat of the uglier side of competition, Latrice and Chad for that matter have been stellar people the whole way. (Sharon gets points off for the whole bashing Phi Phi as a leader because lets be honest IN THAT CHALLENGE it worked.)

I'm surprised so many people wanted The Princess back! I totally thought I was the only fan.... Sad she left so early. If LaShawn had more "oomph" in the personality/confidence department she could have gone further too.

Kenya is eck- pretty can only go so far. Her note was gross, which shows she's vile and bitter.

AND PS. all the FOOLS mentioning that Latrice is lucky for drawing 2 "black woman" songs need to STFU! Soul is in every good song not just because its sung by a black woman. Watch Latrice do a show - she OWNS lip synching PERIOD.

They need to add another queen instead of bringing someone back just to fill the quota for the makeover phase. Hopefully next year they do that.

I'm sorry, but both Sharon's and Kenya's guy were the WORST - at least the more annoying (kinda hot) guy from Jocks in Frocks (Manila's partner) tried AND got into it. Kenya's partner CLEARLY didn't want to be there from beginning to end. And Sharon's partner was a rude ass perv who shouldn't have been there, although he at least redeemed himself a little bit at the end - sort of. Glad Sharon didn't defend him and GLAD Chad Michaels let him HAVE it.

Latrice was the obvious choice to stay - she worked the song, which I thought was the point of a lip-sync. Kenya just worked the stage.

I like that they bring one back although it is inherently unfair because they just get a pass on all the challenges they've missed - so rightfully each time they have gone right back home.

It'll be interesting to see this happen and they actually stay.

i hate phiphi, but she deserved the win this time. however, if she really did make that shit about her dad up... then shes even more of a bitch than i ever thought, and i mean it in the worst way of the word! you dont say something like that about your own father on television if its not true, no matter what!

chads claws are OUT! i loved it! her runway look wasnt so hot, though. those skirts were hiddy. the make-up was, unsurprisingly, great.

latrice in the bottom? i didnt see it, i thought she was great. at least she brought it in the lipsynch like we all knew she would. kenyas performance was pretty bad to begin with, but compared to larice, it was embarassing.

love sharon to death, but she should have been in the bottom this time (especially since there was no question about kenya going home). of course, it had a lot to do with her partner, who seemed like a real creep.

speaking of terribles partners, why on earth did kenyas partner even go on this show?

@khaos: "kinda hot"? manillas partner was - at least visually - a complete and utter dream! i have not forgotten about that one!
