RuPaul's Drag Race season 4 girls; What do you think?

I was surprised they gave Alisa the boot so soon. Bet he comes back like Carmen did last season.

Willam is kind of a twunt. I don't think he's terribly pretty either, despite being (to me, anyway) the best-looking of the bunch out of drag. The angularity in his face works better when he's a guy.

Chad is obviously pumped with silicone, and gravity is taking its toll. He seems nice, though, and he does do a good Cher.

I like all the big girls so far. No timid, mealymouthed Stacy Layne Matthews types this year.

Kenya is a pretty girl in the Alexis Mateo tradition. Is she really only 5 feet tall?

Sharon does freak drag better than The Princess, but The Princess looks better out of drag. Their flirting was cute. :)

Willam annoyed the piss out of me within the first 15 minutes. Beyond arrogance - that bitch is delusional. Also, aside from just about two, I'm not too attracted to anyone outside of drag. As long as Morales is there, i'll have my eye candy(which is good, because last season there was Carmen, and he was a bastard anyway).

The main stage was obviously geared towards Sharon's strength, BUT, I thought that Milan stomped that fucking runway when she came out.

Like missbigpretty, I too like all the big girls so far - I'm liking Latrice Royale more than I thought I would. I hope she turns it OUT later on!

And, I think they made the right choice in who they sent home - she didn't want it bad enough.

i love that William is so arrogant or i dont think he is relaly i just think it is his humor...love it

but some of the girls needs to get their lips done or atlease not make smiles...not very pretty

the right one went home for me....

Sharon 4 the win or Chad Michaels

none of the big girls really has the whole package for me the only one i want to see more of is Latrice but judgeing by her look from the sci fi trailer she looked messy cheap...

Madame Laqueer needs to go..too old school & seen before

Jiggyly really turned it out on the stage i was impressed by that but her whole excuse with lack of sewing skills was shit....

Loved this season already!!! Alisha and Phi Phi are the cutest out of drag. I hope Sharon Needles win, and why does Kenya remind me of Yara Sofia 2.0 lol

early favs: sharon & jiggly!

sharon has style and edge to spare! and shes really polished. i hope she can also pull off some more feminine looks.

jiggly has the most radiant personality so far; i already love her! i really hope shes not gonna bring another runway disaster.

i didnt like the princess' looks that much, but she has peronality and style, so i think shell come up with some more interesting stuff down the road. her flirting with sharon was just adorable.

early dislike: willam. there is a fun way to do 'bitchy', and there is an obnoxious way. guess which cathegory this queen falls in.

This pretty much sums up how I feel about this first episode. Definitely looking forward to getting to see more of certain queens as the weeks go on, particularly Chad Michaels and The Princess.

Damn my episodes got deleted. But I forgot to mention that at the very start of the first episode there is a flash of clips of the various S4 queens LS4 their lives and one thing that Rupaul said that stood out was "for the first time in drag race history for the finale, we're breaking all of the rules" or something to that effect. So I'm wondering what this could be, perhaps a 3-way lipsync instead of the traditional 1 on 1 - maybe by the final the top three are such good choices that Rue can't make up her mind.

Yeah, I'm thinking it might be a 3-way lipsync.

As far as the episode, ultimately I enjoyed it. I thought the right girl went home, but Jigly better figure it out in terms of sewing.

I still liked Sharon and The Princess. I was also really impressed with Milan's outfit.

I'm not liking Phi Phi, but the rest of them seem okay. I still haven't seen Untucked, so that might change how I feel.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.

Week 2 Review:
This has to be my favorite challenge the series has ever thrown my way! True, it doesn't essentially highlight any of the girl's talents, but it does showcase which girls are game for anything and can think on their feet! Also, does anyone else HATE Billy B. as judge? I understand the complaints about Santino, but I rarely agree with any of Billy's critiques and frankly, after his butchered job on Shangela's face during last season's reunion, I lost any respect for his ideal that "less is more"! These are men; not women, and they don't look good with sparse cosmetics! Finally, does anyone else feel that Ru's first two eliminations are answers to people's complaints that she favors the conventionally pretty and essential Ru look-a-likes?
Now, on to the girls!

Madame Laqueer: I was with Milan as far as Laqueer's whining; push through it and shut up, and Madame did exactly that! She was a hoot in the ring, and she had a cute, solid look on the runway. She may be whiny, but she can pull it together when need be.

Chad Michaels: Let's be honest, if you had any doubts as to Chad's strengths in this competition, this episode( in particular the untucked) squelched all of them! I've stated before, I'm in love with a queen who can be fierce without resorting to b!tchyness, and Chad Michaels is the first queen since Nina Flowers to encompass that quality! I love her mothering the girls;no doubt the girls would have swarmed Jiggly like a school of piranha over her comment to Sharon, yet Chad encouraged them to look through Jiggly's eyes "You have that to support you, She may have never been told that she's loved!" That line right there sealed the deal for me;I'm am a 100% Chad Michael fan!

Sharon Needles: Considering her macabre niche, Sharon did incredibly well this week with her look! She also impressed during the match. I took her side in the boyfriend debate with Jiggly, but I did feel that she took it a bit more personally than Jiggly intended for it to be. It was sweet to see her sensitive side!

Milan: I'm still rooting for Milan to do well, but am concerned that she's still flying under the radar (albeit it's only week two; Bebe and Yara didn't start standing out until week three, so let's not turn our backs on her yet!) I do wonder if her wardrobe, despite how I like it, looks good only because she sells the heck out of it each week. Still, she has great energy, and as I already mentioned, I'm not giving up just yet!

Phi Phi O'Hara: She still likes to be a b!tch, but I'll admit begrudgingly that she turned it out in the wrestling ring! Her runway left something to be desired( when asked for your best "girly-girl" look, Dolly Parton shouldn't be the first idol to spring to mind!) I haven't warmed up to her yet, but I will admit that she's showed some decent drag chops this week!

Latrice Royale: Honestly, did anyone truly doubt she'd do well this week? She easily stole the show (overall anyway) during her team's round. Her make-up was a great improvement from what she normally defaults to, and her outfit was cute (albeit a little too safe for my tastes).

Kenya Michaels: I can't say that my faith is fully restored in her, but Kenya made a huge bound in the right direction this week. Her energy was completely in "Yara" territory during the match! I also loved her "baby-doll" approach to the runway, even if it did read a little to Nikki Minaj for me.

Jiggly Caliente: Still spewing attitude in all directions; but she really was the best of her team this week. That said, her runway look was only ok (how many of those lollipops does she have?) and she did well in the challenge because it played to her personality. I have to applaud the girls for trying to intervene with her. This is really the first time I feel the cast is a "family"!

Willam: As I stated at the beginning, this challenge really pointed out who could think on their feet and dive into whatever Ru throws at them; miss "I'm a successful queen/ actress" truly stunk this week. Her runway was ok at best, and really it was just her good luck that Lashawn and the Princess were blander than her this week!

Dida Ritz: Chad, Latrice, SOMEONE mother this queen in the ways of wigs! She easily had the worst runway look of the week. She needs polish like a fish needs water! Her performance was bland and honestly, she probably should have landed in the bottom two! Like Willam, she lucked out that two other queens were a fraction of a grade blander than her, at least in the judges eyes. I will say that she has a sweet personality, but that doesn't go far in this competition.

The Princess: Completely deserved to be in the bottom. She was practically non-existent in the challenge, which is worse than standing out for being bad, in the drag world at least! Taken by it's own merits, her runway look was great "Up yours Billy B, I liked the wig", but she was asked to bring her best "girly-girl" couture and this was anything but. In fact, I felt she won the lip sync more so due to Lashawn making obvious drag boo-boos than truly amazing the judges.

Lashawn Beyond: As I just stated, Lashawn's inexperience in the drag business was her undoing. As soon as the lip sync started she ripped her heels off, and for me the battle was over at that moment. If a queen can't work the stage in a pair of heels, than move over! Her outfit didn't read "girly-girl" the way it should (though it came closer than a couple of others) and ultimately, she's just too new to the drag world, and didn't seem to have the fire in her stomach needed to impress Ru. Still, she has HUGE amounts of potential, and her skills are off the chain for such a newbie!

Phi Phi is the Shanel of this season. So ambitious she can't see her own flaws.

Wasn't a fan of the second episode. What I did like was when Madame La Queer mentioned she had no family and had the girls in tears. What Sharon said really stood out to me, if someone could get the exact quote.

I was just beginning to like La Shaun, would've rather seen the Princess go, but she was a little too reserved I guess. It took this episode for me to finally tell Dida Ritz and La Shaun apart lol.

Kenya girl... when I saw the previews and interviews I was like "Why is this broad on the show? She's so short it's annoying." Now she jumped up from my least favorite to my first choice this season and right after her would be Latrice, another queen I doubted. Can't wait to see more.

are you talking about the sharon quote where she said something like.

As gueens were mean, selfish and bitchy, but we make the best freinds?

I kinda have a love/hate relationship with the second episode.

First, I want to state that, again, the right girl went home, and the right two were in the bottom. Sorry, but doing a lip-sync in your socks is boring - you're a drag queen for hells' sake. Pump it up and keep the fuck me pumps on.

Second - and this was mentioned in the wrestling thread - it is so sad that some of the drag queens are better wrestlers in a couple hours than what's shown in the WWE right now - especially Latrice. I feel that their team should have won... everything from the promo to the in-ring wrestling was entertaining in my opinion. I wanted to say this was a challenge geared towards the big girls, but that almost wasn't true until Madame Laqueer "manned up" and pushed through.

I was not a direct fan of ANYONE's runway look - in fact, it was probably overall very weak considering past seasons. The only person to stand out and look essentially polished was Kenya Minaj... everyone else was either just okay, or, in the case of Dida and Willam, just bad.

I have to laugh at the comment above about Jiggly and her lollipops - did she bring a caseload with her?

i havent seen either untucked ep, but i loved the wrestling episode! i cant believe they didnt make a bigger deal out of the wrestling coaches; joey ryan was gorgeous!

there are still a few queens who havent quite made an impression on me yet, but overall, i like most of the cast this season.

sharon is my frontrunner. her girly look was alright but not as good as i was hoping for.

the princess is probably not top-3 material, but i still like her and im glad she got to stay. chad is sweet. i like all the big girls. latrice is pure gold; laqueer was a littly whiny but brought it in the end; jiggly has mess-potential, but i still like her a lot. not entirely sure about kenyas personality yet, but shes beautiful and fierce. willams is the girl i love to hate. phi phi is cute as a guy but she hasnt blown me away in drag yet.

Just saw the untucked, kind of late, but does anyone feel Alaska (Sharon's drag queen BF) will be on season 4? Kind of like Sahara/Manila. She looks fierce, fiercer than Sharon. I love how Sharon got so emotional though and the whole lounge vs. Jiggly and how they all supported her, despite her bitchiness.

I thought I was going to hate this season but it is by far the best in my opinion and it's only been 2 episodes.

I'm not sure about all of you but I really wish Alisa Summers could come back, she went too soon. There's no more pretty girls on the show. Phi Phi could be one if her makeup didn't make her look like a middle aged housewife.

OMG, Dida ritz was so good in the last episode, Her lip sync was out of this world!! Bitch is fierce!

Manila Luzon should go back for this season!!
I agree with you to a certain extent about Manila coming back. I say yes just because I miss her being on RPDR, but I say no because her fame has already exploded since she left RPDR.

Week Three Review

Did anyone else feel like this week's challenge was rushed through? It all went by so fast that I honestly have to go back and watch it while I write this review to remember how some of the girls fared this week. Even the touching mini-challenge seemed over before it could really go anywhere!

Sharon Needles: She may complain about Phi Phi pegging her, but the fact is, we all have. We love and adore her, but all view her as the Gothic queen! Her performance in the infomercial was spot on, but I wasn't wowed by it (to be fair, no one's performance did! Maybe it's due to the aforementioned rushed feeling, but this wasn't as spectacular a turnout as it could have been.) I wasn't THAT impressed with her runway look either. I hate to admit it, but Santino was right when he stated the bottom half looked unfinished. I love her, but wasn't THAT impressed, she just lucked out that no one did decidedly better.

Kenya Michaels: First off, what's with her attitude towards Madame? Sure Madame's whiny, but as far as judges' points go (remember, the 'high-five' happened before this week's challenge); Madame's got one win and Kenya's landed in the bottom three. I see no need for stinginess! Having said that, She would have been my pick for the win. She brought it in the infomercial, with a video setting as equally suited to her persona as Sharon's was to her, and her outfit wasn't really any worse than Sharon's. I thought she would win this one, but girl needs to be nicer to her P.R. sister!

Chad Michaels: I wasn't a huge fan of the gold paint on her forehead, but I still believe that after Sharon, she's the one to beat! She had my favorite outfit (not a standout, but very elegant!) She also outshone her co-host (but that was hardly a challenge!) Overall, she's still my favorite mother hen with claws!

Willam: Frankly, I forgot she was here this week. All she did this week was state that Milan was stepping in where she wasn't needed. I agree with Willam! Willam's look was so-so, as was her video. I'm glad she stood up to Milan, but ms. actress is not wowing in these acting challenges!

Phi Phi O'Hara: Girl can lie all she wants; she put Sharon in goth drag because that's all she thinks Sharon can do! That whole "it's her strength" bull had me rolling my eyes. Her moment with Jiggly seemed much more sincere than last week, but she still needs to reel in her mouth. She needs to do more to stand out, because all I remember about her is that her Mexican accent was more irritating than it was entertaining. I don't even recall what her runway look was!

Latrice: I wish she'd stand out more on the runway, because she's knocking them dead in the challenges! Her southern baptist act was hands-down the funniest segment of her group! Still loving her spirit, but another one that faded to the back this week.

Jiggly:...I'm gonna take a risk here. I'm not trying to be cynical about the death of a mother, but did anyone else feel like she overreacted to her brother's video? I understand she's hurting, but is she honestly going to grab her head and wail as if in pain anytime someone mentions anything about mothers? That said, I thought her infomercial bit was cute, if a bit too similar to Manila's reporter schtick.

Milan: I'm decidedly less impressed with Milan this week. It's one thing to help out Kenya with her language barrier, it's another to use that as an excuse to take over as choreographer and leader. What really turned me off was her behavior in the lounge with Willam! She's lucky She didn't get her teeth kicked in for that "lowering down to her level" act! She really let her ego get to her head this week, and sadly she once again failed to stand out, in either the infomercial or the runway!

Madame Laqueer: Jiggly hit the nail on the head by calling her look "Stacey Layne Matthews part two!", Madame truly disappointed this week on the runway!I had no problem with her using her spanish in the promo (it worked for Yara,) but boy was that outfit ever cheap looking! She didn't deserve Kenya snubbing her, but the other girls were right; shut up about your shoes/feet already!

Dida: This is arguably the most polished she's look yet on the runway. I agree that her infomercial character was too meek, and she truly did act like her outfit alone would sell the character. She made me (probably all of us in fact!) believers with her lip sync though! GIRL SERVED FIERCE ON A GOLD AND PLATINUM PLATTER!!!!

the Princess: She's a sweet kid, but the longer she was in the competition the more obvious her limitations became. The fact that she felt her lackluster performances were some sort of personal triumph highlights this perfectly! Her runway look was great, but sadly that's probably the only impressive thing she's done during her three week stint!
