RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6

Didn't like BenD's Halloween costume. Drag should be fierce and that was not. Looked like a trip to Michael's or Hobby Lobby. That said Adore, Trinity and Joslyn really were the bottom this week. I want a double elimination OR a "bring back" (Gia).

Courtney Act probably had the most professional interview BUT it was easily the most boring. I do not watch drag queens be professional, monotone, and politically correct. I think she crack maybe one (lukewarm) joke in their?

I watch them to be entertaining, funny, fierce.

The wings on her runway look were cool, but take those props away and she was back to relying on that body. Nothing special.

I was disappointed by this week's episode. It just did nothing for me. It could of been that I just wasn't in the mood to watch it or that it's kind of obvious who the final 3 are going to be. Right now Courtney Act and Adore Delano are competing for third prize. Darienne has to go next week. She brings nothing but shade.

Well, somewhat below-average episode of drag race. It had its moments, but there was just too much treacly shit going down.

Joslyn: Got paired up with a guy who really didn't want to be there, or wasn't ready for it. Why did this couple agree to this? I hate cringe comedy, so I hated watching most of the scenes he was in. Anyway, it was about Joslyn's time, anyway. She's a really awesome queen, and she kept it classy until the end. I think she learned a lot from this experience, and when she manages to make her look more classy, she'll be unstoppable.

Adore: Was whiny, and her daughter looked horrendeous. Not a good week for her.

Ben & Bianca: Good week for both. But, to be a little shady myself, it helps that they both walk the runway looking like the mother of the bride more often than not :P Anyway, I was wrong about Bianca not going after Darienne. But while most of the shade Bianca's been throwing all season also has this tough love quality, she's going for a darker shade of... uhm... shade... with Darienne. It's arguably deserved, but it's still not exactly pretty to watch.

Courtney: Just isn't that likable. Don't think she'll make top 3.

Darienne: Gets on my nerves.

I agree, and seems like many of us do. I didn't enjoy it the moment they walked out in a wedding tune. I always look forward to the "Now sissy that walk! *upbeat beat*" part of the runway. A little off track here, but it's become my favorite runway song. (!)

Next week is the Glitter Ball and the queens need to create 3 outfits/looks: Banjy Girl Bling, Platinum Card Executive Realness, and Dripping in Jewels Eleganza (Right up Joslyn's alley, too bad :(). Ben can work the hell out of a glue gun and Bianca del Rio can sew the house down so it is right up their alley. My only critique though, Ben and Bianca seem to have been doing the same dress silhouette all season. Poor Adore, another sewing challenge, and unless Courtney and D. Lake screw up big time she might be going home :(.

I have nothing to say about this week's episode. Where Darriene is bitter, Courtney's just a bitch lol. And Bianca's the first queen this season to hit 3 Wins for the main challenges. Sharon Needle's still tops 4 Wins in a season, just a little drag race trivia. :D

Darienne: Definitely my favorite queen this season, is very quick witted and hysterical. As well as very sweet and likable on Twitter. On the show? Eh, not so much. I love his looks, even though others think he just changes colors. I feel his humor is a little bit misunderstood. I don't believe he's malicious or mean spirited with his shade like Roxxy, Phi Phi, or Courtney are. It's a little bit of editing, of course not knowing when to stop himself like Bianca does, and just being a little bit of a bitch. When he's called out about being "hateful" he doesn't say something like "It aint personal." I think he has a great sense of humor about getting the villain edit. I'm surprised he made it to the top five. Sadly, he'll probably go home next week, but I'm certainly glad he made it this far.

Bianca: My favorite to win this season, I love her for all the things everyone else does. Her looks, sense of humor, being able to switch between a shady lady and a drag mother instantly. If she doesn't win this season, I'll be pretty disappointed. As she's by far the most talented and polished.

Courtney Act: Eh, Courtney's been very interesting to say the least as far as personality changes. She was very sweet in the beginning of the season about body insecurities first to Adore, then to Darienne. Which made me really like her. Outside of that though, her looks are nothing to write home about. Same goes for her personality. Which is why so many people were disappointed with her. Looks like she's taking the Roxxy / Phi Phi role from Darienne. As she was a huge bitch in the past two episodes for no apparent reason. And this will probably let her make it to the top 3.

Josyln: She's very nice and likable. However, her personality and looks are a whole different story. Still a little irked she got to stay another week over Trinity. As Trinity was much better in both departments. But yeah, boring. Lasted a week longer than she should of.

Adore: Now I became a huge fan when I found his Youtube channel about two years ago. Her personality is amazingly funny. However she's REALLY unpolished. I can't think of anyone outside of maybe trinity who's been read in critique's about how she did the challenges and her looks. She's really unpolished. And for that, I personally don't think she deserves to be in the top three. She's been in the bottom two, what, three times right? The last two weeks being back to back. As well as has been in danger of being the bottom two, two other times.

Ben: Much like Josyln, very likable and nice. However, bores me to tears, Her personality is as dull as a rock, and her looks certainly don't make up for it. But again, very nice and sweet! Between her and Adore, I'm not too sure who deserves third place.

just a few thoughts:

I always LOVE the makeover challenges. It's great to see the queens put others in drag, glam them up, and see the transformations and all.

Courtney's man (Steve) was fucking HOT. I would "make him over" alright. Oddly enough, he looked pretty good in drag as well. Courtney did a good job softening his look. ..|

LMAO Darienne's guy kinda looked like Michelle Visage while in drag. :dead:

Bianca definitely deserved the win. Everything was flawless...the look, the presentation on the runway, the "mother-daughter" vibe, etc. Bitch is fierce, and I have so much respect for her as a drag queen. I also thought it was sweet how she was trying to be helpful to Adore (who was CLEARLY having issues). I also noticed that she seemed to pair the queens with the couples she felt they had most in common with/seemed alike...as opposed to being nasty about it.

Also...Ben's guy seemed like such a sweetheart. He was adorable.

Santino killed me when he said Adore (and her drag daughter's) outfit had a non-existent attention to detail. :dead: Then again, Adore is usually sloppy and not very polished...so it came as no surprise to me. They looked a mess.

Bye, Joslyn! She's a doll, but it was past her time to go. Her drag daughter was a hot mess. I'll just leave it at that.

Overall, fun episode and entertaining enough to me.

I'mma have to shoot Courtney a fb message and see if I can get Steve's phone number though. He can "disarm" my bomb.

they should just give bianca the win already, at this point these queens are no match.

by the way, i still despise bianca

Has this been the most predictable season so far since season 3. We all kind of new that Raja was going to win and I think it's going to be the same with Bianca. She is just more polish than all the queens. She knows the perfect thing to say to the judges. The only one that will give her a run for her money is Ben but I don't think Ru would give it to her because there is going to be to many comparisons to Jinkx Monsoon.

I agree. I think it's either going to be Bianca, Bianca, and either Courtney or Adore for final 3.

Does anyone else think next week it will be Darienne vs. Ben LSFYL and the week after it will be Adore vs. Courtney?

I want a... "bring back" (Gia).

Granted, she did make me laugh a few times, and I did like the wonky eye. *wink* *wink* But why Gia?

She didn't seem all that polished, her runway looks left much to be desired, and as far as talent, well, she didn’t really perform any better than those who've left since her or before her for that matter.

Courtney Act probably had the most professional interview BUT ...take those props away and she was back to relying on that body.

Well, she did have the courtesy to cover up this week…but something tells me she’ll be back to her almost-nude self faster than you can say boydy-oydy-oydy.

This sums up the last episode as posted by a fellow blogger:

Oy, vey, enough already and what filter were the camera men using to make his face look like the damn tin man?? Jeesh!!!

As for this season, I think Ru and the producers may be disappointed. Some of the more interesting drag contestants floundered - Gia, Laganja and Milk so we are left with "predicatable" and "likeable." There is no Raja, Jinx, Sharon, just some nice or expected drag queens. I mean Bianca will win but she's a very typical drag queen. The others are snoozy and Adore just isn't seasoned enough.

This. Bianca del Rio is the standout star of the season (and Gia, for other reasons). Had Bianca been on a season with bigger personalities that stayed longer, we'd have ourselves a show! Her "schtick" is fading as the girls keep getting lamer because I mean, what else can she say about Courtney that she hasn't yet? Not much. The same goes for Ben and Darriene. I was watching a show Bianca did on youtube the other day and I was like "Damn, she's a hateful bitch. Love her." She totally watered down for the show.

Over this season. Let's start a thread for season 7. :=D: I'm hoping to see Vicki Vox on there, but word through the grapevine is that she doesn't want to be on the show (could be wrong).

Well, you did say you wanted Gia back, so how badly could she have floundered between last week and now?

LOL! :dead:

Apparently S6 is still lingering.

Oh, Scruff pit crew....

Ugh don't even tease me! I'd love to see Vicki Vox in the future.
