RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6

'RuPaul' Season 6 Spoilers: Magnolia Crawford Posts PHOTO With Bright Red Lipstick & Big Wig [VIDEO]

The contestant posted the photo on Sunday of herself in a car where she is seen wearing big eyelashes, red lipstick and a head of curly blonde hair. Her white earrings are also dangling as she gives a shocked smile to the camera.
Crawford captioned the photo: "#thisoldthing? #Driving like a #lady! #teammagnolia #teammagnoliacrawford #magnoliacrawford #magnoooliacrawford #rpdr #rpdr6 #rupaulsdragrace #magnoliaisme."

My provider cut LOGO.

Or else I have pay on a higher tier? (Haven't really looked into it.)

Take, take, take.

Drag Race was just renewed for a 7 season which is no surprised. I really want them to do another all star season but none of the teams craps that messed up the first all stars. There should also be a normal season no 6 episodes crap.

Same here. I'm sure the team thing was done for budgeting reasons though.

Anyone else caught the pre-release of the season premiere? Logo released the 1st premiere of the new season sans the elimination and introduced the first seven girls.

Pressed on time so I can't really make this a thorough review but it's more of my first thoughts/reactions.

The queen that surprised me the most was Gia Gunn. Watching the "Meet the Queens" segment I thought she was just going to slide under the radar but girl is hilarious! Some may find her annoying, but to each their own, she's unintentionally funny like Alyssa Edwards and has the sass of Carmen Carrera.

Love, love April. I think she's the cutest out of drag out of the first seven. I feel like she has so much potential but she's a little soft-spoken. Ben De la Creme, all I kept thinking was "Michelle Visage" lol.

I can't wait for the other set of girls, especially for Milk, Courtney, and Bianca del Rio!

They had also had a 10 minute preview on LOGO last night and I have to say from that small preview I'm loving the queens this season. I'm loving Gia Gunn. Hopefully It's a good season worth the wait.

Of the next batch of girls? I only saw the first 7 girls' preview. Did logo release another one?

A great article on RuPaul:

In Drag, It Turns Out, There Are Second Acts [The New York Times]

As arguably the world’s most famous gender illusionist, he should know. More than two decades after his hit single “Supermodel (You Better Work)” made him an unlikely pop icon, Mr. Charles is back on top. His show “RuPaul’s Drag Race” returns for its sixth season on Monday (it was just renewed for a seventh) ....

It was the first episode that you were talking about but only the first 10 minutes. Did anyone catch RuPaul on Watch What Happens Live they asked him if there is going to be another all star season and he said that there is going to be another one. :gaysex:

I'm a little confused. Ru said there'll be two premieres, the first seven queens and then the other half would have their episode. Would they BOTH show tomorrow night? Or do we see the first seven+elimination, then the other seven+elimination next week? If that's the case I think it's a little unfair and I want to see all 14 compete and then get an elimination as opposed to eliminating two queens from separate batches.

The preview I saw was the first episode with Gia Gunn and them, it was about 38 minutes and went all the way to the main challenge/runway/challenge winner+bottom two, but we weren't shown the lip-sync/elimination as it said it would continue tomorrow.

I'm not a fan of All-Stars. It would be more dynamic if they made it a full season and had them compete individually, but I watch it anyway to see my fav queens lol.

All I have to say about the premiere is Laganga was going to be my GIRL..... and then she started talking. Oh boy... she's going to work more than a few nerves, and it won't be nice.

And Miss Gia Gunn - reading the house down constantly and obnoxiously. Not that some of the things she said have been wrong, just that she's clearly playing the bitch this year.

Agreed on both Laganga & Gia!

Personally, the best part of the 1st episode was Adam Lambert. I never thought he was attractive and looking at his older pics circa 2009-2012, I totally see why I ignored him, BUT somewhere along the way he grew up, got a decent haircut & lost a good amount of the face paint. He was really attractive as a judge!

Back to the contestants...I hope the second batch gives me some life because the vast majority of these girls were not doing it for me. A couple of them were cute boys though...

Right now I like Adore, Gia, and Ben. I didn't like the way they were split into groups of 7 though. I've always enjoyed seeing how everyone gets along at the beginning and we lost a little bit of that, IMO. I am excited about the next group though.

I'm wondering if Mike Ruiz will be on the show next week for a photo challenge or not. I always like seeing him. :)

I just caught the premier yesterday. I'm liking this season so far. :D It's like having and "old friend" back. lol

I like most of the girls so far, except Gia. I know some of you like the shady, bitchy types...but I'm not here for it. I hope she's gone soon. Can't stand her. She seems like one of those types that is feeling herself a bit too much, imo. In addition, she also seems to shade (or tries to) others to lift herself up. It's still early though...so she may change it up a bit down the road.

Since it was only the first episode, I won't go in too hard on their "styles" and such--but wow. I was incredibly underwhelmed at their entrance looks for the show (when we first see them). Adore looked a mess...like she threw that together five minutes before walking into the workroom.

I'm LIVING for Laganja though! FUCK FUCK FUCK he is so adorable OUT of drag! :luv: I want to kiss all over his face. I think I have a little crush. Plus, he seems like a sweetheart... aside from annoying some of the girls during Untucked. I hope he makes it far.

I also like Ben and April. I could see myself being cool with those two. When I give my opinions on these queens, I take their style and personality into consideration...personality moreso.

I think the elimination was on point. Kelly needed to go. For someone who was supposed to be a drag 'veteran'/seasoned, etc. she was a HOT MESS. bye, sweetness.

Can't wait to "meet" the next batch of queens. As someone else said...I think (and hope) they're more polished.

Well, so what that they were split into two groups? Less and less are able to slip through the cracks un-scrutinized. I'd say that's a plus for reality T.V.

Two weeks later and it's still down to 12 hopefuls. So, honestly, what's the difference?

I thought that 'spaghetti' stand-off at the close of 'Big Opening: Part 2' was pretty fun.

After seeing Darienne Lake's lip-sync, that bitch is going to be DANGEROUS... if she can get her styling together. Her "opponent" deserved to go for more than just a horribly boring dress... the entitlement was STRONG with that dumbass. Don't know why she thought acting like a 7 year old would be "good" publicity, but that's her problem now.

The second batch is probably way, WAY better than most of the first, and, for the first time in a couple seasons, there are a couple of guys on out of drag that I'd definitely pick up.

And I agree with Native - that standoff was killing it(and of course I loved that Bianca Del Ray read Gia Lee Simmons, but i'm bias cuz he's cute and she's fierce).

I'm LOVING the latest "batch" of queens.

Milk...soooo cute out of drag. And he seems very laid back and 'real' to me. I could see myself hanging out with him. I was nodding in agreement when Courtney made that comment about his looks.
Bianca is a hot mess. See...he throws shade in a funny/sassy way, as opposed to the bitchy vibe I get out of Gia. He's hilarious.

I am finding this cast to be a lot more interesting than I expected at first. So many "likeable" queens. And yes...so many are easy on the eyes. :luv:

Yeah, that bit was quite entertaining.

Can't wait to see how they all interact next week!
