RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6

Hmmm, even though Adore did well, I thought Joslyn's rap was tighter. On the runway Adore is just not impressing me and she was one of my favorites (if not my favorite) of the cast before it started. If she wins this and doesn't bring it on the runway, I will be disappointed. With that said, Josyln's runway was also weak and the lip color wasn't doing it for me, but she is definitely funny and has a wit about her.

I was sad to see Milk go, but I think she accomplished what she needed to and sometimes I think that's almost as important as winning.

Bianca was funny and I thought she did a great job. I definitely think she's a lock for final 3, which is totally fine with me.

Laganja was vey middle of the road for me this week.

I was scared for Ben, but he made it work, barely.

Trinity impressed me on the runway and in the lip sync, but her performance in the challenges has been subpar. With that said, I think this season has had some of the best lip syncs and I thought both she and Milk brought it.

Darienne performed poorly in the challenge this week, but her runway look was okay. She needs to bring her A game.

Finally, Courtney was okay, but not great. She really needs to step it up and stop relying on body. Her runway was both interesting and predictable at the same time. She seems a lot more well-rounded and smarter than what she is doing in the competition, but she's not showing it to me right now.
 
I think this episode redeemed (and did the opposite) for most of the queens.

First off, Adore Delano, good for you girl! Well deserved win. I knew she was going to slay it as I remembered her saying on Meet the Queens that she'd like to lip sync to Lil Kim's "Custom Made" if she had a chance to. I do agree that she needs to work on her runway looks but at least it's not as boring as Joslyn and it's very "Adore". I see that she's taking every critique and applying it. "This is not RuPauls school for girls" but Adore is very deserving of being on the show to grow and learn. I'm very curious to see her progress. I think she will be in the top 3 if she turns things around, but there's only so much she can work with with what she's already brought to the competition.

Bianca, thank you for showing the world the good side of you because I think most of us were getting tired of the bitter bitch persona. She was giving me J-Lo realness on the runway and boy is she gorgeous when she paints without the white lines under her eyes (although I still love her with it, clownfish and all). I almost fell off my seat when she said she snorted the white lines and started shaking LOL.

Milk, at least she tried. Derriene, if this season had the "Heathers" she'd be the leader. I'm trying to like her but I just can't. Trinity as boring as she is I think she has owned EVERY look she strutted down the runway. I love how she gives us different walks depending on her outfit. I wasn't a fan of the hippy look but it's still different and I was LIVING for her lip sync. That has got to be the sexiest number a queen on any season has done... with clothes on. Laganja... ugh. This was her challenge! You'd think with all that hood talk she does and her choreography background that she'd murder this challenge but she flatlined... again. It's her time to go, but of course the producers won't let that happen, not with the tension building with her and Adore climaxing.

Courtney, you've already done a bikini girl. You are no Carmen Carrera. Pack some meat on and then maybe you can rock the bra and coochie pasties, too. Ben... wasn't his episode. Lastly, Joslyn did a pretty good job. She grows on me every episode.
 
Trinity's lipsync was aaaaaaaaamazing but that what it.. she is really bugging me with all theese excuses.. you know have to acting and singing when you are getting cast so.. the same when people say they dont do celebrity impersonations...you know its coming....

Thank good MILK went.. even when she tried to do glamour it just look like a knock off of Alaska's look.....

Bianca looked really good with out the whitelines make up and that old school wig.....
 
Hip Hop Drag! Part of what keeps this show fresh 6 seasons in is how they keep coming up with those amazingly appropriate challenges.

Adore: Love her. That's all.

Bianca: She's starting to show her softer side. I believe that's 100% calculated on her side, but you know what, I'm ok with that. I'm now also wondering whether that white line below her eyes was there on purpose, so she can get rid of it and give the illusion of "improvement". I wouldn't put it past her; again, I'm totally fine with that, especially since she's executing her maipulations so flawlessly.

Milk: I was rooting for her from the moment she walked through the door, but god bless her, she couldn't bring it. She isn't very versatile, and she seemed increasingly awkward and out of place in the competition, not unlike Vivacious. Glad she was on the show, but it was her time.

Courtney: This clearly talented queen seems to be fading. It could be just the editing, but Ru's warning makes me think that it's more than that.

Ben: I'm seeing cracks in the overly polished facade. Is it just me or does she come across as always ever so slightly below the belt when she's throwing shade?

Joselyne: Strong and charismatic performer, but girl is hopeless on the runway. That look was a disaster by any standard.

Trinity: Getting very tired of her attitude, and her performance was weak, too. That being said, she surprised me once again with her runway look, and her lipsynch was once again epic.

Darienne: Ben's off-hand remark that "Darienne is no nice lady" made me listen up. Is she seeing something that we haven't so far? Very curious.

Laganja: Ugh. She has great looks, but her personality is grating to the max.

Gia: Being a nasty ho from beyond the grave. Milk may have many flaws, but she's at least trying to do something unique and interesting. If you're unable to appreciate or at least respect that, then you're... what's the word... ignorant.
 
I actually really liked the challenge this week - it's nice to see something new and unexpected, even though my ONLY gripe is that they did the library WAY too early. I much prefer it when there is fewer queens - more time to shine(although still, reigning champ with the lethal library card is Jujubee). What can I say - Adore killed it, deserved the win.

Although it's a lot like rubbing salt in a sore, I'm happy that Milk is gone - the one time she puts on a dress, and it looks like she snatched a hospital curtain down and decided to tweak it a bit to pass it off as a dress. A quirky personality is great, but that's all she had.

Trinity... I'm getting a little tired of her whining and excuses and getting in her own way. She can lip-sync for the ages, but just because that's what you do best doesn't mean you can't branch out; never let people know that lip-syncing is all you do because that's all you know how to do. If she doesn't get it going, she's next on the chopping block - she may be the hometown girl, but she better strap on those fuck me pumps, or get some clear heels and step on back to GA. She - and Laganja while we're at it - need to pull it together.

Ben and Darienne really went for each other - what's all that about? Just some crack about Ben winning two challenges caused a meltdown... I mean, shade is shade, but that was really kind of petty.

As soon as the beat hit, I knew Trinity would slay the lip-synch. But she really needed to with that defeatist attitude she had.

And like someone else said, Courtney is no Carmen Carrera, she needs to step it up. It was her best tuck and fishiest look, then she doesn't bring much to the table. Wearing a bikini as her big reveal was incredibly predictable.

Bianca grew on me a smidge this episode. She wasn't so in your face/over the top bitchy & I didn't want to mute my TV whenever she had camera time - so props. I'd like to see more of this Bianca.
 
Derriene has been bitter. I called this out about three episodes ago when someone here said she "smiled" when she threw shade. Umm, no. She's a passive aggressive Phi Phi O'hara... sorry 'bout it. She's a pretty big girl but that's been crossed off the list seasons ago. Delta Werk? Stacey Layne Matthews? I'd love to see her go next episode. Over it.

As far as Courtney goes, she does look good, IMO. I think some of you are just jealous. :lol:

Now I know I shouldn't talk considering it took me 20-some years to weigh anywhere CLOSE to 165lbs, but Courtney is really on the thin side... where are the curves and swerves I'm used to getting on a body queen?
 
I feel like I'm the only one who actually likes Darienne and hope she does well. One of my favorite queens from the second she appeared on screen. I find her hysterical, and her outfits, while a tad boring, always seem on point. While she can be a bit rude, and not in a teasing way like Bianca, nothing she's said thus far seemed really that mean. But hey, it looks like Darienne is getting the villain edit this season. Which I guess at least means she'll stick around a bit longer. *Shrugs*

Maybe I just wasn't paying attention - I admit Darienne seems like a solid performer who constantly flies under my radar, because there are more interesting or charming queens all around her. But I didn't feel the nastyness everybody's talking about. I thought "none of your fuckin' business" was justified, because Ben, as much as I like her, was being insecure and needy.
 
Darienne isn't that bad, but like I said, she just comes across as "bitter" in my opinion. Maybe not to the rest of the queens but just towards Ben de la Creme, which is very "Roxxxy on Jynx" or "Phi Phi on Sharon" to me. It must be the editing though. Bianca del Rio posted a snapshot of next week's mini challenge and the partners were Darriane+Ben, Bianca+Trinity, Adore+Laganja, Courtney+Joslyn. Someone commented that the producers must've edited the show to lead up to this challenge, which is interesting and kind of true. I don't recall a Courtney+Joslyn feud though, but Courtney did read Joslyn as the "2nd rate version of Courtney Act" lol.
