Rush Limbaugh Taken to Hawaii Hospital

HONOLULU (AP) - Rush Limbaugh's radio program says the conservative talk show host is resting comfortably at a Honolulu hospital where he was taken with chest pains.
The program said in a statement Wednesday that Limbaugh appreciates people's prayers and well-wishes. The statement says Limbaugh will keep people updated via rushlimbaugh.com and his radio program.
Limbaugh's chief of staff Kit Carson says Limbaugh is currently on a vacation that started Dec. 23 and that's due to last through Jan. 4.
He had no information on whether this schedule would change. Limbaugh's three-hour weekday show is heard on some 600 radio stations across the country, and more than 14 million people listen to him at least once a week.

The divisiveness in today's politics was not started by Rush. Rather, it is the insightful creation of the "Evil Genius" Karl Rove! Rush is merely capitalizing on what Karl started! ](*,) (And, making it far worse than it was! #-o )

I do not wish Rush bad things! However, there is the concept of "what goes around, comes around"! So ... should his empty, dark, heart actually give out ... well ... :rolleyes:

And ... why does he happen to be vacationing where his "nemesis", Our President, is too?? :confused:

I dunno... I remember Rush back in the early 90s spreading his vitriol and outright lies. I mean, opinions are one thing but when you're making up just random 'facts" to support them... and then presenting it as REAL facts on your radio show?

I can't stand this man. I find him repulsive and a big part of what is wrong in America. I would not mourn his passing.

But there is no way I can take any pleasure in what may be happening with him right now. I took that ambulance ride to the hospital twice this year, and while it ended up not being my heart, it was beyond frightening to hear the words "you might have had a heart attack" while lying there alone in the ER.

I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone.

I'd like to see him lose his influence, but any of us who wish death or harm to him are merely doing the SAME thing that we complain about when Rush, Pat Robertson, Fred Phelps, Anne Coulter, etc. vilify gays, liberals, or somebody else who they wish would die.

HOLY SHIT!! Collapsing black holes swallow up EVERYTHING in their vicinity, and they KEEP GROWING. WE'RE DOOMED!!!!

I'd love to see his show lose its influence, or for Rush to perhaps actually "find his way" and come to his senses. (But, then, wouldn't he lose all of his REICH WING listeners?)

But to wish him to die, that makes us no different than Pat Robertson and his ilk - those who have wished for the death of gays, or for that Senator to die, or Obama to die, etc. We're doing the same thing that we complain about with those other people.

But, as said above, "What goes around, comes around" - and you can take that to the bank.

Limbaugh, 58, suffered from chest pains, sources said. Limbaugh was sitting in a chair in his ninth-floor hotel room at the Kahala when emergency crews arrived, sources said. He told medical crews that he was taking medication for a back problem, sources said.

It is never a good thing to wish the death of someone, including Rush Limbaugh. Realize, he is just a party hack, were he to die, like the heads of the hydra, two more even worse would rise to take his place. There is a market for his nonsense. Until the American people abandon the stupid group think of party politics, it will only continue.
