My dislike for Limbaugh as a person is not a liberal vs. conservative thing. It's a human thing. As a human, Limbaugh sucks at being one, as he always breaks the golden rule. There are many other conservatives that I could easily be compassionate for in the same situation. But Limbaugh has made himself a symbol of hatred not only by what he says, but in the manner he consistently says it. It's difficult to find compassion for any symbol of hatred, regardless if they are a conservative or liberal.

Apparently, there are a couple of hospitals located much closer to the resort that Rush was staying at then the one he was taken to...

Seems that the hospital further away is the only one on the Island set up for 'major trauma' emergencies.

I do not wish The Drugster any ill will. I would hope that his problem is not too serious. I would miss Keith Olbermann not running the tapes of Limbaugh either jumping up and down or the one where he keeps yanking on his nipples.

What I'd really like to see is a successfull Obama presidency making Limbaugh an irrelevance. Success - the greatest revenge!

for me, it's not even that he's conservative it's that he's a complete hypocrite. this is the guy who has been blabbering on to the public for years that drug addicts are the scum of the earth and should be sent to prison for life, well I guess that fat fuck got what he deserved killing his body and health. he obviously should have known better, he has no one to blame but himself and I don't see why anyone should sugarcoat the truth.

I have noticed that some of the posters here are disturbed by this thread's nastiness. You're entitled.
However, please keep in mind the following - originating from the putative head of the RNC:

1. The term "feminazi".
2. Referring to Barney Frank as "my boy lollipop:.
3. Referring to Obama as a "Halfrican American".
4. The one who has told Americans not to buy American cars.
5. The one who is always making "Curious George" references regarding Obama.
6. The one who decried that Donovan McNabb (in Limbaugh's first and last appearance on ESPN) was getting a "free pass" from the sportswriters because he was Black. Oh, by the way McNabb's team (the Eagles) were in the Superbowl that very season and Limbaugh's sorry ass was off ESPN instantly.

If you go from the Hotel over to the "Highway" - there's another "medical Center" out near Hawaii Kai - (I think) - but if you go "west - and head towards "downtown" you get to Queens - (where I was born)
it's no more than 5-6 miles to either one -- so maybe the HawaiiKai side is a mile shorter-- remember - these are "news" people - trying to make chicken shit outta chicken salad - instead of theother way around -- We need to separate the pepper from the fly shit here..
