I love Kathy Griffin's comments about Seacrest. Apparently, even Paula Abdul approves.
He's a fag. Yep. Simon Cowell was asked if Ryan's gay...his answer: "He's happy!"
Anyways, although it was embarrassing, it can happen. We had a blind teacher and there was this time a girl wanted to ask a question and was waving her hand in the air and said something like "Can't you see me waving my hand?" (she thought he was ignoring her)...and then she fell into her senses and was total ashamed of what she said. Bottom line is...it can happen. Sometimes, even though things may be obvious and in your face, you're distracted and embarrassing shit like this can happen...plus giving a high five to someone is a very casual, natural thing to do so it might've been like pavlovian response...it's automatic, given the situation.

This is how I interpret the high-five moment: his inner homo wanted desperately to connect physically with the man (I'd hit that!), so that was his immediate reaction. When he couldn't, he reached for his hand to complete the high-five. Notice how after the high-five is consummated the blind man reaches for his hand again and Ryan clutches it with both of his. Awwh ain't that sweet!

In defense of Ryan...(a little)...the guy wasn't fully blind. Like he said, it is like looking at life through a straw. Give Ryan a break.
Last night was kind of boring. The new judge isn't entertaining to me yet. She is almost like a Paula clone. It was a little funny to see her start singing against the bikini girl.
