saddest song you ever heard?

This would be the top 5 of my choices....when I first heard it on Charmed, I was severly impressed. Very soft, simple, haunting.....

Neil Young is a serious force of nature when it comes to sad songs, and I think this is one of his finest statements.
It's easy to misinterpret his intent by the brilliantly catchy (albeit sarcasm laden) title, but you can definitely hear it in his voice; his heart is broken and he wants you and I to feel the pain too.

There's a warning sign on the road ahead
A lot of people saying we'd be better off dead
Don't feel like Satan, but I am to them
So I try to forget it any way I can

Darn it..having trouble posting a vid form youtube....how do you guys do it?

just grab the URL at the top of the video page and I type a couple words (anything you want) then highlight your words and add it as a link....that little earth with the chain link thingy.... try that

Both the song and video are sad. I'm surprised nobody here has posted the video on Hot Topics or this section.

Marsha Ambrosius - Far Away

Sigur Ros - Vaka
you can't really understand the words. but you can fully understand the feelings. the emotions evoked through just the melody. this is one of the saddest songs I've ever listened to and there are hardly words to it.
