I hope everyone is doing well and will have a wonderful week. Stay safe and healthy guys.
Myself, I am doing well but seems I am busier the usual. This week is full of doctors and more the next 2 weeks. Tomorrow it will be the ear, nose and throat doctor. I still have the right ear being deaf and this has been going on for 4 weeks. At 2 PM i will be getting my vaccine shot.
Dan, are you going to try and get the shot?
Rob, try and keep away from others. Being on an island takes and makes close quarters for everyone.

Here's wishing you Bill and EVERYONE at JUB a belated Happy New Year .. I was diagnosed with Covid 19 at work on Christmas Eve day, but not wanting to put a downer on everyone's Christmas I did not mention it. I can say without doubt, that I have NEVER been so sick before in my life and I am truly grateful to my work colleages for the care and treatment they showed me in hospital. They all told me that I make a better Nurse than I do a patient I'm sure they were happy when I discharged myself a couple of days ago. I'm now resting and mending at home and all going well hope to be back working in the ICU mid February. A BIG Thank you for your kind wishes and I promise to answer you all when I can. HAPPY NEW YEAR to one and all, may it be a healthier, brighter, happier one for us all.

When the vaccine is available I will be having my shot - the vaccination station is only a mile from where I live so I’ll be walking to and from it.

More good news. (me saying sarcastically)
Well as stated earlier my foot finally has healed but now I have received a call from the dermatologist and they tell me I have skin cancer. It is not too bad that it is only on the ears. They are going to treat them next Friday. Still also waiting on the blood work from yesterday to give me an update of my kidneys.

The kidneys are still not too good and I will be seeing the nephrologist on Tuesday and get his opinion. The problem is my Ear, Nose and Throats doctor wants me to have a MRI but my primary will not allow it because of my kidneys. They have to use contrast and that can damage the kidneys further. The wonderful health life of BillyT continues.
