I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else and I feel it's a milestone which should be recorded. Same-sex marriage becomes legal in Thailand tomorrow. 
The BBC News article also discusses why no other Asian countries except Nepal and Taiwan have taken the same step. Mostly for fairly predictable reasons it has to be said. My money is on India as the next country to be added to the list. Views?
