OMG! I just checked on my summer training schedule and @ the moment it looks like I'll be in San Diego that week!

I wouldn't be able to attend the comic con, but could meet up with everyone in the evenings!

-will check with my supervisor to see if we're going to the AVID training week 1 or 2...

If you are coming book your rooms early as the hotels will be sold out, this used to be the Pride weekend and San Diego had to change weeks because of hotel room problems, so be forwarned, book early.

mark me as 'possibly.'

but i think it would be interesting! i know luminum, effortless_pro and i yakked about it a while back. ;)

You can count me in as a "near yes"! And I had a question since I have no idea about Comic-Con: Since it's called "Comic-Con", is it largely a convention based around comic books only? I know you said it's based on "movies, television, comic books and everything in between"; does that include stuff like video games, anime? Maybe I should go find the website and look around...I'm confusing myself now #-o

it does indeed.

the convention is driven primarily by the comic book industry but other media outlets such as film, television, video games, etc. have taken root.

OH HELL YEAH

I love comic con.

I went 3 years ago.

If I can go count me in :D

Yeah wavesmasher.

they have rooms for anime. Like 4 showing different movies or shows.

And they have like a mini E3 with gaming. And some games that aren't out yet and tons of free stuff.

I went 3 years ago and shigero miyamoto was there.

I'm in L.A. and always been interested in going to comic-con, but I don't think any of my friends would like to go.
I am by no means a crazy comic book fan at all. i read them every so often and i think I own maybe 20 at most and that's a lie probably.
