Well almost.

She just released a brand new single titled "One Dream." It will be the main theme song in the upcoming Winter Olympics Games (used in commercials, promotions and whatnot). Fitting that they chose Sarah because she lives in Vancouver, BC, Canada where the games are taking place.

In other news, she has been working on brand new material for the past year and a half and her new album is expected to drop in April/Spring 2010! That's 7 years since the last studio album. She has managed to release a holiday album, a couple of commemorative re-releases of live material, a rarities album, and 2 new songs on her greatest hits album Closer, released a year ago.

Next year will also see the resurrection of the all-female music festival Lilith Fair, which generated a few million dollars for various charities/causes in the late 90s.

Good for Sarah though. I probably won't be attending Lilith, but I'm ready for a full-fledged Sarah tour, which will probably happen about a year from now-- enough time to start saving money! :gogirl::gogirl:
 
OMG! Thanks for posting this.... I cannot begin to explain how much I love this women. Her music got me through a very rough part of my youth. I had check her site recently and heard nothing of this. Im so glad she is finally coming back and giving us some new stuff. Though the wait is going to be torturous for me. Thanks again!
 
Her site and "fan club" are always behind, that's why anyone hardly knows about the new song. It's like the fans are the ones who have to search hard, high and low for the latest news ](*,)
 
She's apparently a lot lighter than ever, not sure it's gonna be a good thing or bad thing, we shall see. So looking forward to this new album, been too long!
