Sarah Palin screws up AGAIN

Thats what we have now a great orator...how did the vice President put it "articulate"

We need a decent leader...and No it wont come from any pool of politicians we currently have to pick from...

To be honest, I still think we should have gone with Hillary over Barrack. But we got what we got and no matter how many bad games of golf he plays, I still think he's a bit better than what we would have seen with John and Sarah.

So wrong.

Loud, and wrong.

Your erroneous assumptions are getting the better of you. LOL

Aren't you getting sick of being tripped up, or do you honest to God just live for it?

We're talking about Democratic politicians. Stay on topic, because the majority of them do not support it.

Sadly I agree....

Although all of them are bought and sold.

The only other places I can see a leader for Americans emerging would be either a rich businessman or the military.

Sarah wont be it I would think but the stupidity of the republican party choices never fail to amaze me. They are letting the democrats focus on her and encouraging it so they dont start looking at whomever the real next choice will be..

It wont be a full rack 'em stack 'em field where the republicans are sniping the shit out of each other and doing the work for the eventual other side.

Again sadly whomever that next choice is will probably win based on the jobs not changing...in fact with the cess pool that was a gulf of mexico we will see job loss skyrocket.

Does anyone think the Secretary of State would run in opposition to a sitting President if his popularity is in the tank and would you vote for her?

Because they're yellow and don't want to piss off the social conservatives who do vote Democratic.

The Democratic Party got to the majority in Congress in the first place on the good graces of independents and moderates, whom they are quickly losing.

It's the same reason why most of the left-wing agenda such as clean energy isn't going anywhere, despite support among most Democrats. Most Democrats in Congress, who by the way support marriage equality, are still a minority of Congress.

It's also why marriage equality failed in New York and New Jersey. No Republicans or conservatives voted in favor of it except for one, Bill Baroni.

That is the sad truth and real strength of the Democratic Party. They wont march a party line for their party leader to institute real policy change.

The republican side is more likely to march us into concentration camps and everyone in the party holds open the door

YOU stay on topic. Not a single one of your posts in this thread have been about the original topic.

you know... funny... as I recall, Laika's first posts were there intentionally just to change the subject away from Hypocritical closeted gay Republicans to whether or not Barney Frank was a "good witch" or a "bad one."

Jasun, as you know and everyone else knows he's just making a fool of himself and is laughable. So far hasn't said anything about the original topic in this thread and most others. If he actually had something to say instead of scolding or insulting people he disagrees with it wouldn't be so bad.

Back on topic:

Can't wait for the next Palin screw up. Place bets on what it will be?

Are you two done slapping each other's back? I've yet to see you say anything intelligent. Your posts are all far-left talking points and of course personal insults against Conservatives.

After reading some of your replies to other JUB members, Sarah Palin doesn't look so stupid. At least she knows how to make money off her ridiculous comments.

Johann, you're right. ^^^ So young, so tender and doesn't have a clue.

Hm.

Says the guy I had to school in the history of DADT, the Texas homosexual conduct law, the history of the Democratic party...

I think I said before... you can always tell that forum type... once called on their bullshit, they turn into blubbering babies and say everyone else is being mean.

Funny how we've all discussed the failings of both parties but WE are the ones who are parroting out talking points... oh well.

You still haven't answered the questions at least three of us asked you regarding the specific policies of the Republican party you said you agreed with because the only thing you disagreed with the Republicans on was their opposition to gay marriage. Were we correct that you in fact support all those other abhorrent Republican parties.

Of course, it explains why you like Sarah Palin. When asked what policies of the Republicans you liked, you said all of them. When Katie Curic asked Palin which newspapers she read, she replied, "all of them."

As someone who has voted for as many Republicans as Democrats over the years, I find Sarah Palin chilling. She reminds me of the "dumb blonde" jokes that used to make the rounds of high school, despite the fact she's not blonde (no offense to blondes -- I actually love them!)

She is proof of what happens when the electorate does not delve into those whom they elect. I have never pulled a straight party lever in my life nor will I. When I was in Michigan, I used to spend considerable time before voting -- even looking at the regents for U of M and MSU to see that there weren't nuts that had fallen from the tree and were looking to get picked up.

The media has made Sarah Palin what she is; it certainly was not her stellar intellect or skilled speaking. If there was no one else in the Republican party who John McCain could have picked -- to me that is a sad indictment of this country's future leadership.

As to teleprompters: having been in and around politics as well as religion, more and more are writing and reading every word. I had a very good friend who was bishop in Grand Rapids (he passed away of a rare brain disease at a very young age, unfortunately). I remember he could deliver one amazing homily or speech on just about any topic. However, he only spoke extemporaneously in groups of friends. When he was in an official capacity, he would spend hours writing and rewriting his remarks and deliver them verbatim. I also saw many of Governor John Engler's speeches prior to his delivery and remarked that his speech writer must have wanted to kill himself because Engler just read -- he never allowed for applause or any other reaction!

Both told me that they had to read because of the news coverage today. One gaffe and you are on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and who knows where else -- and probably before you descend from the podium. If you are delivering official policy and information -- you had better get it right and the days of "speaking from the cuff" are just too dangerous.

It is sad because we no longer hear and see what our leaders are like underneath the official presentation that is delivered from a podium. You may like or hate the Kennedys but the three brothers were eloquent speakers.

Words are a powerful tool that can also be a deadly weapon. I wish that Obama and others could step away from the teleprompter more but the danger is too great. He speaks for 10 minutes and the talking heads "interpret" every word for the next 24 hours news cycle or, if a weekend, throughout the ensuing three days.

Palin would do well to learn to read from a teleprompter; perhaps she wouldn't look so ignorant when she attempts to speak extemporaneously. But then again, she might....

Oh good one!

This insane dingbat screwed up AGAIN!

Today she was speaking at a Vegas Bowling convention (HA! HA!..... the depths this bimbo is going to) she started speaking of the fond memories she had in Idaho when her father was in a bowling league. What she filed to mention was she moved from Idaho when she was 3 months old. She remembers things that happened when she was 3 months old?!

"Palin recalled her youth when her father set pins in Idaho." = the bowling pins were as big as she was at the time.:p

Can't this air-head give a speech without lying?:^o

http://www.examiner.com/x-48604-Bow...rue-Americana-because-of-their-community-ties

Where is she going to give one of her insightful and moving speeches next time? A toilet cleaner's convention?

:rotflmao::rotflmao:

God, you can't make this stuff up.

Bob, there's a long list of easily disproved, plain odd, lies Palin has told.

It seems she's willing to say anything, any time, with no regard for accuracy. (We've had a bit of the here on this board lately!)

She might be a chronic liar, but I think she's just a grifter.

Does chronic lying and stupidity go hand in hand? With this idiot, it does. I've known some liars who were clever (read: sinister) but I'll never accuse Palin of being clever.

She's stupid, but smart enough to bilk thousands out of their money, you gotta give her credit for that.

As much as I dislike Palin, are we going to monitor every word she says and wait for a slipup?
I thought dems and liberals were better than that.

And bimbo? really?

They really have no class. They can't argue on merit alone, so they disparage people personally. So in the end, they are the ones looking incredibly stupid.
