Sarah Palin takes Fox News job

I can't think of a more appropriate role for her. I can't wait to see how well she reads from a teleprompter.

When she was introduced at the Republican National Convention last year, the teleprompter faled and she gave the majority of her speech from memory.

Obama, on the other hand, rarely is seen without his teleprompter, and when he does, that's when he makes his most memorable gaffes.

She resonates strongly with Conservatives and Moderates. I've made the comment before that she's an effective rabble-rouser. With the midterm elections coming up in November, I think Fox will use her to rejuvenate the conservative movement.

Actually, much as Republican shills would like you to believe otherwise, Obama speaks very well without a script. His interview on Fox with O'Reilly is a good example.

Palin with Katie Couric ... not so much...

Gasp!! Surely you're not implying Fox have a political agenda?? You're not saying that they're NOT fair and balanced?? :D

Examples PREASE!

Watch them giving INTERVIEWS. Obama ain't got no teleprompter at those, and he's as eloquent as ever. Ask Charlie Gibson or Katie Couric which one if them is better on the fly...

Memorizing speeches is not evidence of thinking on the fly...

She resonates with FAR-RIGHT conservatives, i.e. the Republican BASE and the Tea Baggers. They're 25% of the the country. Everyone else is either ambivalent towards her, or DISLIKES her. Sarah Palin may energize the Republican base, but the conservative movement won't be rejuvenated until people like her have no place in mainstream American political thought. They might make short term headway in the 2010 midterms due to turnout, but in the long-term, this far-right, define yourself by what you don't like, populist bullshit will hurt the Republicans and the american conservative movement.

Was she reading from the teleprompter during this interview? or just being herself?

Katie Couric was asking Palin what experience she had in foreign policy, and she was trying to tell them how Alaska monitors Russia, since they're only about 50 miles apart. The truth is, there are territorial islands that lie between Alaska and Russia that are only a few miles apart, and Alaska monitors those also.

But what foreign policy experience did Obama have?
Did anyone ever ask him?
Well, we've seen a few examples of his foreign policy.

Obama Foreign Policy

Sources say Obama was hoping to persuade the king to be ready to show reciprocal gestures to Israel, which Washington has been pushing to halt settlements with the goal of advancing regional peace and the creation of a Palestinian state.

"The more time goes by, the more the Saudi meeting was a watershed event," said the former U.S. official who recently traveled to Riyadh. "It was the first time that President Obama as a senator, candidate, or president was not able to get almost anything or any movement using his personal power of persuasion."

The former official said that Ross has told associates that Obama was "upset" about the meeting "because he got nothing out of it."

All that bowing and scraping for nothing...

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalp...self-president-obama-cites-his-golf-game.html

Last year, in his first interview with Russian media, President Obama was asked, "What don't you like about yourself?"

The president responded, "I have been playing golf lately, and I don't like my golf swing."

The entire economy is crashing into the toilet and all he can think about is golf swing?

And when the underwear bomber was trying to blow up a plane over Detroit, Obama played golf and basketball, went snorkeling and to the gym, and ate at his favorite Honolulu restaurant. His wife and children went to the beach and entertained friends from Chicago.

As this Politico story notes, the Christmas Day bombing plot has shaken the Obama administration and his supporters, leaving the latter flummoxed. They can’t seem to understand the president’s clueless reaction, which verged on peevish resentment over the interruption to his vacation:

Over the course of five days, Obama’s reaction ranged from low-keyed to reassuring to, finally, a vow to find out what went wrong. The episode was a baffling, unforced error in presidential symbolism, hardly a small part of the presidency, and the moment at which yet another of the old political maxims that Obama had sought to transcend – the Democrats’ vulnerability on national security – reasserted itself.

… and this will bring to an end any bid [Sarah Palin] may have had for the 2012 Republican nomination for president of the United States.

Looking good, Mitt Romney!

Signing on as a Cable-News Commentator would help Sarah but she's not running in 2012..By 2012 her bank account will be running-over with cash and being the Opportunist that she is, she will have so many projects bringing in the cash..

Do you really think Mitt (With his Good-Looking self) is going to run again in 2012? He spent over $50 millon of his own money in 2009...Can his bank-account take another blow like that? The majority of Christians will not run to the polls and vote for a "Mormon"....

If Mitt converts to Christianity like he flip-flopped over issues in the past then maybe he'll have a shot

Why does this end her run for the White House? It'll fill her coffers, put her in front of millions of right-leaning folks, and give her the opportunity to hone her interviewing and public speaking skills.

I honestly can't think of a more perfect role for her than this. She's always been more of a conservative talking head than anything else. Now she's just making it official.

"I am thrilled to be joining the great talent and management team at Fox News," Mrs Palin said in a statement on the network's website.
"It's wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balanced news."

:rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao:

 She is so full of shit.

I'd kind of like to see her on a local public access variety show. She could have Kate Gosselin on to discuss her new hair extensions.

She resonates strongly with Conservatives and Moderates.

That's a negatory there mister.

She resonates with the hardcore Republican base, and that's it. I'm talking Limbaugh loving, Karl Rove ball sucking hardcore.

I really like Sarah Palin, I'd love to meet and talk to her. I don't agree with her politics completely, but I admire the fact she's an outsider.
