Sarah Silverman At the VMA's

I just commented about this in the Britney thread but it's worth repeating. She crossed the line and was so not funny. It was to much. I love raunchy humor but she was being a boring cunt going for the easy "joke". Her new spots for her show on Comedy central are so not funny. The whole I came from the future bit and her with the horse pronouncing her name which is the same is so lame. I have found her roast jokes on roasts funny but not outside that forum. I heard someone yell,"leave Britney alone" during her set. She was worse than Britney's performance!

Britney threatened to ditch her VMA performance just minutes before she took the stage. Want to know why? Britney overheard Sarah Silverman rehearsing her monologue in which she calls Britney's babies mistakes and takes jab after jab at Britney.

Britney made it very clear with MTV that Sarah was NOT allowed to talk about her kids, and MTV agreed. That big-mouthed bitch said it anyway.

Sam Lufti was overheard backstage screaming at Sarah Silverman because of her outrageous remarks saying: "Sarah Silverman is a seriously unprofessional person to make fun of infants to get a laugh. Making fun of kids is not condonable," and that "she should have picked on someone her own size."

Perhaps this why Britney looked upset during her performance. Britney was seen backstage in Alli's arms crying about how cruel people can be to her babies.

While it is Silverman's job to get a laugh, it should not be at the expense of little babies. Your career must be hurting if you have to turn to bashing infants in order to gain a laugh. You'll get what's yours.

Britney Spears was to perform under the magic of Chris Angel... but MTV freaked out at the last minute finding out what Britney was actually going to do.

Supposidly, what Britney and Chris were planning was to do a set of mirrors and flotation. But when told to the Palms Hotel/Casino... the hotel flipped.

Insurance was the main problem, and the stage couldn't support the performance. MTV also freaked at the last minute because of their fear of being "too controversial" during the performance. Britney and Chris were infact furious with MTV's sad excuse and told Britney to change the performance at the last minute.

Britney's original performance was to infact appear and disappear. To float through the air... and for much mature dancing

She crossed the line when talking about some else's kids, she was a totally unfunny CUNT.

I don't care if you're a comedian, those digs were too personal and really inappropiate. The girl had a horrible year, give her a break. She's in the same room... respect.

Generally, it's truly pathetic of people to hate Britney enough to talk shit about her kids and kick her when she's clearly down as if it validates how "cool" they are. That goes out to some people here as well, it's just petty to do that at the moment.

Thankfully the audience didn't care for her terrible sense of humor.

She's ugly. She's not funny. She's classless. She's got an annoying voice. She should just go away.

I really don't think that she is funny...in anything. Out of all the roasts, tv shows, stand-up, award shows, etc...she may have made me laugh once or twice, but it seems like she only tries to make herself funny by using the shock factor. Get some new material bitch!

Yeah I was going to say the same thing, she uses shock to get across how funny she is, when in actual FACT she is tired and her routine is shit. I'd compare her act to that of a college student trying their hand at stand up one drunken night to impress a boy in the audience. The laughs weren't coming too easily until she used a swear word or two and then it kind of caught on that the only way she's EVER going to get a laugh from the crowd is by being a vile, scum of the earth, classless whore that she has become.

Yeah, she's had a horrible year, but I think a lot of it is her own fault. She could've handled so many things so much better.

And from what I hear, the "mistake" thing was quoted from Brtiney in a Star magazine article. As in she's called her own children "mistakes" when she got mad at them -- which should teach you to never be a bitch to the people who watch your kids, because it will come back to get you. So I think maybe Sarah made the joke because she knew it was said before.

I guess, I'm the only one who likes Sarah Silverman.

True, she's bitchy. But that's one of the reasons I like her. So Un-PC.

Silverman hit the nail on the head. Mind you, we're not talking about the Pope here. Its Britney Spears. She drives with her kids on her lap, puts soda in their bottles, makes them wear white strips, keeps them up till 11pm so she can sleep in the next day and calls them, "mistakes." Spears is the kind of person we pay these comedians to exploit. I kinda like seeing Spear kicked down a peg or two.

If you got offended FOR Britney Spears, a person you don't even know, and probably never will, that's sad. Pathetic even.

From what high? The girl's been in a ditch for the past year. What peg is there to kick her down to?

I tried to find Silverman funny, but I watched all the episodes of her Comedy Central show and all I can say is "Meh." Let's not forget that her Maxim photo shoot was also seriously unfunny, unsexy and just odd looking.

Pretty much.

Silverman has never been, and never will be funny, but it's not like she was lying.

I suppose some people find empathy to be rather pathetic. That or they never had the capacity of spirit to feel it.
