Well, someone's adopting her.

'Perdita chose her adopters after a successful meet and greet that included minimal growling and very little slapping (on her part...her new cat parents are lovely and don't growl or slap at all),'

She leaves for a new Tennessee home this Saturday.

It's nice to see a small-town animal shelter get worldwide attention.
 
My brother and his wife have a female petite but adult cat they call Lil Bitch.I don't even bother to pet her anymore.She just hisses and starts swatting at you. And they love her :roll:

I love cats the poor dear probably is that way because she was hurt at some time by humans just because there are no physical scars animals still have emotions maybe its her way of trying to cope.
 
Or maybe she's just a bossy cat. Lord knows I have one at home who terrorizes my kid just for kicks. He likes to have fun and also loves to cuddle, but only when he feels like it. It's called cattitude.
