Sauna or Steam

Our gym only has a steam room, which suits me fine. At the ones which have both, I prefer the steam to the dry heat.

Only problem is, sometimes the steam can smell a bit stale - not sure if it's something in the steamroom, or something in the boiler, but ours is a bit miff sometimes.

In the gym, sauna which is mixed and nude. If I ever go to a gay sauna, I prefer the steam, far more action, and and the thrill of the misty atmosphere !

neither but i love the hot pools like 40-45C are great

why would you waste time in a little room when you could be swimming is beyond me though.

The little hot room is for after swimming.

At least, it is the way I do it!

steam all the way.

sauna is too dry, like i feel grose with all the sweat, with with the steam room u know it's the steam as well and u don't feel so bad.

Aromatherapy rooms are pretty good too, like i went in a lavender one once and instantly started to cough up phlegm.

after thinking alot about both of them. I am learning towards a sauna. never been to a public one so I have no clue if you get to control how much heat vs steam you get.
The home made one I had was nice. you want steam just keep trickleing the water on the barrel. you want heat throw a couple more logs in and open the vent a tad. it will be 180 +++ before you know what happening. being at a private one I get to drink as much as i want and smoke a couple of joints without the grief from others. str8 friends are fun too. get them so their defences are relaxed and it's amazing what might happen in such a place
