So I just wanted to share my story with you all. I went to a korean sauna the other day. This place is a totally nude place sectioned off by gender. Well since I know that my best friend really enjoys the sauna I invited him. We went the other day and just really enjoy seeing him naked. I don't know what it is but I really like to see him naked but I can see any other man naked and it's not the same.

Anyway, we were in the sauna room and it got packed in there so we were sitting caddy corner to one another. I was in full view of his manhood. He had some low hangers! Another thing was that I am not sure why he did it, he is not cut, but at the sauna he pulled his foreskin back. His head was really exposed. I was able to see his entire head and the edge of his head. I couldn't help it but I got hard. I had to hide it!! He then started to stretch one of his arms cause he hurt it some time back and he sat up straight, closed his eyes and started stretching. His body was really great! He has chest hair but not too much and is skinny. After a while I went to the hot tub and he stayed there for a while. The hot tubs are sunken and I was in one. He comes out and comes straight to me. I am eye level with his package and it's hard not to stare at his package and keep my eyes on his eyes!

We had a good time there. Spend some time there, showered and came home.

He is not gay, he is very straight but I do notice that every time we have been to this place he is very friendly and almost affectionate with me afterwards. I date girls but also don't mind men. He might be hinting for something to happen between you and him and noticed your glances and body language in the sauna. Keep playing off his affection towards you with suggestive comments of your own.
 
I have a straight friend like this. I think they just like the attention... they might be bi-curious or just comfortable but they certainly like the extra attention
 
he may be interested, he may not. either way I'd enjoy having a friend that is comfortable being in the sauna naked around you. dont jeopardize a friendship over sex.

I have a friend that isn't circumcised. He pulls his foreskin back so it looks like he's cut. He just feels more comfortable since the majority of guys around us are cut. It may be why he does it. Who knows. Ask him next time.

I sometimes feel that I should not attempt anything because I do consider him a very close friend. Don't want to damage any friendship. Although I would not mind fooling around if I had a chance but I won't do anything to make it happen.

This is the same friend that had a boner at the gym once when we were at the gym showers. He comes out of them and comes to the locker area. He drops his towel and right in front of me he had a boner. Didn't try to hide it at all just went on and put his undies on. I was about to joke about it since we always joke around but held back! Now I regret it. Anyway, we once also went out of town together and shared a hotel room. He comes out of the shower and there to one side was a full body mirror. I really like having him as a friend, he is really comfortable being naked in front of me. I get to see him in the buff once in a while and jo to him later.

If he is straight & a really good friend I would not risk anything to ruin your friendship. He may just like the attention but does not expect anything to happen.
 
I have a somewhat unrelated question Biman75. Is the sauna you went to just outside of Philadelphia? If so, can you explain a little about what it is like. I have read others talk about this spa and understand it is not a "gay" spa but wonder what the vibe is like. Thanks.

The place I go is like Spa Castle and also a multi location company. Several places in the US.


Regarding how it is, well there are a lot of Koreans but then there is a lot of American people. It is very straight and just a place you go to relax and talk with friends. I really do like it for the sauna aspect. One thing I do not like though is that you do have several gay men who try to pick up other men there although there is staff wondering the wet areas all the time. This is not a pick up bath house. Sorry guys but I don't like it when someone is in the sauna and they keep staring at my junk and not disguising it at all. I understand you might want to look and thats fine if you look but don't stare and keep staring. Some big guy was in the sauna room when we were there and he comes in, looks around at us then leaves (I assume can't stand the heat too much). Anyway, not 5 minutes later 2 other guys come in and this big guy comes in again and starts staring. The entire time we were in there he came in about 4 times and each time after someone else would come in.

Anyway, other than that everyone minds their business. You sometimes talk to some people but for the most part people are quiet or they have some else that they come with and talk with them.

As I mentioned we do look and everyone looks, gay or straight but its a glance and not a fixed glare which is the difference. The lockers, showers and hot tubs, saunas everyone is naked. People walk around butt naked and don't really care. You do have common areas which are the hot saunas and pool which are mixed and that is clothing required.


Not sure what you are looking for but thats what I've seen around here. Overall, I enjoy it for what it is and from time to time do see some attractive men but thats about it.
 
It sounds a lot like the spa I go to here in Atlanta called JeJu. It's a very nice, clean place to go and relax. There are wet areas for men and women that have a steam room, dry sauna, hot, warm and cold pools as well as stand up and sit down showers. It is NOT a hook up place but almost every time I go there is some creeper cruising around. It's so obvious and it ruins the experience for a lot of people. They come into the sauna and sit for thirty seconds or follow guys around like lost puppies. There are a lot of Korean and Russian guys in the wet area and I've talked to several of them about it. One guy told me his friends wont go any more because there were too many gay guys trying to pick them up or staring at them. It really pisses me off because it gives gay guys a bad name and plays into the stereotype that we're all a bunch of sex craved creeps praying on the younger guys. I've seen the staff kick out three or four guys for "inappropriate behavior." There are several bath houses and sex clubs in the Atlanta area where guys can go and do all the playing they want. The spa IS NOT the right place.

Steven this place is exactly the way you describe it. I have seen people like you mentioned. I might consider myself bi but I don't go there with the intention of hooking up with someone. And I dislike others that do. There are places for that and this is not it. This place even have children...! Although I haven't seen much inappropriate behavior other than once, I do see the creepers you mentioned almost every time I go. There is this one old guy who gets in the hot tubs and just stays there almost all day to watch others bathe (showers are against the wall and no partions or anything). I really dislike it when he's around.

Anyway, I don't know what staff can do about it but good thing is that there is at least one staff memeber in the wet area at all times and 1-2 staff members in the locker area.

I hate when people stare also. Its like, you have a big flashing sign in front of you, do you not realize this.... Especially those who come in and out chasing after people. I look in the sauna/steam room, I will occasionally get out and go back in, but not because of a guy, well unless he is like really hot lol, but its mainly because I am hot. I love relaxing in them. Your muscles get very loose, your pours get cleansed, plus I find the eucalyptus in the steam room to do wonders for breathing exercises.
 
Thanks for the replies to my question. Sounds like a good place other than the creepers. There is a decent size Korean population in Philadelphia and a Korean spa on the edge of the city that is supposed to be nice.

I have one more question; do you have to be nude the whole time? I can be kind of shy, at least initially, and would like to be able to wear a towel some of the time. Thanks again.

It sounds to me like he is very straight and is very comfortable around you.

If he has no gay/bi feelings there is no reason for him to notice you looking at him or be uncomfortable being naked around you

Unfortunately I think your feelings are not the same as his.

As you say, treasure the friendship and don't spoil it by making a pass at him

That said, if you are naked around him and semi/aroused as well without drawing any attention to it, he may take notice and things may progress
 
I guess you can wear a towel but believe me you will forget about you being nude after a while. From time to time you do see someone with a towel wrapped around but I think they bring more attention to themselves. As I mentioned you do get a couple of creepers from time to time but other than them everyone minds their own business. No one really cares about your "shlong".

The place I go to rarely you see someone with a towel. Now you do see a lot more people that walk around with a small towel they give you. They sometimes just hide their pecker with this towel. But as I mentioned after a while no one cares.

The first time I went I was shocked cause I didn't know it was totally nude. Being an American I wasn't used to be naked in public like this. In school we would shower in PE but wouldn't really be naked a long time. Here the showers are in plain view of everyone. So you shower and everyone can see you shower. There is about 2-3 showers that are out to one side that have side partitions that you can use.

Anyway, go check it out for the benefits of the spa. Don't worry about being naked. No one knows you anyway! It's really relaxing. Every time I go I come home very relaxed and sleep like a baby! ha!
