Please say a prayer in whatever religion you are for the souls of the dead killed in Virginia and in Iraq today. And please pray for those who are left behind to clean up the mess left by the waste of these poor people lives.Thank you.

Can I ask what would be the purpose of praying for people who have perished?

As for "those who are left behind", I will not pray for them. I am a member of no religion. Don't mean to sound insensitive. I think it's a tragedy what happened, and I hope the family and friends of the victims are able to carry on in their lives. What good does saying a prayer for them do? Do you think your God or some God is going to personally help these people in some way? If your God or whatever God really wanted to help, preventing this tragedy in the first place would have been nice.

Perhaps a prayer is not what is needed here.. perhaps it is time to reflect on a constitution that allows people to "bear arms".... this was.. I suppose , a needfull thing when the US was a young country, fighting for its right to be! But surely, now, in the 21st century America does not need this antiquated right... is is not time to look at this , so-called right, and question its validity in the new century? I do feel for the families who's have been destroyed by this one madmans actions.. We had it here at Dunblane..
