I've got scabies... It's a serious problem...
6 months I'm trying to heal... My skin is burning as hell... and the scabies are still here...

Don't know what to do ??? It drives me mad...

:help:

BTW backrooms (or saunas) are places I will never go again.

????

Have you not gone to the doctor? Cuz they'll give you some cream you put on all over your body and in 8-12 hours, you take a shower and they're all gone.

My filthy college roomie gave them to me by proximity alone. I was so upset that I got an STD and didn't even get to have sex!

I saw the the doctor once. It was two/three months ago. He ordered me some pills.
Since I bought a lotion, I bought a spray...

I think I have to see him again.

:help:

Scabies can be ended by using a topical insecticide which will kill the bugs. BTW, it is not an STD, no more so than head lice. Both are contracted by contact with infected people. You can get then from their bedding, clothing or bodily contact.

what he said! even Dogs get scabies!

(a different kind)

My idiot of a DR told me i had scabies about a month ago. I spent at least $150.00 on the prescribed cream, sprays for my furniture, cleaning supplies, washing my clothes and I even flea dipped my cat! I only had bumps on my forehead and chest and back. None below my chest. He told me to use the cream 12 hours a day for 14 days!!! I told him on the spot he's wrong. i work in the health field and have had clients get scabies. He insisted. I knew he was wrong. the pharmacist said he could have poisoned me.It's one 12 hour treatment. Though you can do it one week later to be safe ( Also make sure u wash and spray EVERYTHING). So I have to tell my work and the new guy I am dating. It was a huge thing. Well, sometimes I dye my hair to cover the grey. Turns out it was the hair dye!!!!! I would dye my hair shirtless and it was spraying on my back and chest. I am so pissed at my fucking doctor it isn't even funny. The moral of this is make the DR give u a scabies test to be sure that is what u have. I'm tempted to call my DR and raise holy hell but instead i'm gonna drop him as my primary care physician.

Scabies for 6 months is not normal at all. When I was a kid in a sleep away camp, my entire bunk got those suckers. I was covered in rash from neck down. The doc prescribed some magic lotion that you have to use from head to toe and all of the problem was gone in several days.

Remember when you do a treatment you have to wash everything you wear and your bed sheets in hot water and bleach.

When I thought I had them I did research and some people had them for past 8 months and just couldn't get rid of them. If you miss just one of those suckers than you are back to square one. My Dr wanted me to bleach out my furniture!!!! Ugh, that guy really pissed me off.

Compliments of Wikipedia:
Preventing reinfestation
All family and close contacts should be treated at the same time, even if asymptomatic. Cleaning of environment should occur simultaneously, as there is a risk of reinfection. Therefore it is recommended to wash and hot iron all material (such as clothes, bedding, and towels) that has been in contact with scabies infestation.
Cleaning the environment should include:
Vacuuming floors, carpets, and rugs.
Disinfecting floor and bathroom surfaces by mopping.
Cleaning the shower/bath tub after each use.
Daily washing of recently worn clothes, towels and bedding in hot water, drying in a hot dryer and steam ironing.
