I read an article a few weeks ago and from what I can remember scientist had recently discovered a type of fat that grows underneath the skin / scalp that is actually preventing the hair from growing. When the fat is dissolved the hair begins growing back again. I'll have to find it and post it here.

The good news is that they found out the actual reason why hair loss starts and they should come closer to curing it within the next decade or so.

emu oil as in from the bird... yes.

Apparently has some good anti inflammatory purposes. It has also been used apparently by the aborigines for a long time for other skin conditions.

By 19 I was noticing it. I had amazing hair before that. Loved my hair.
I'm 28 now and it's just thinning every year. I hate it so much. But what can ya do. Life goes on.. Deal with the crap that's thrown at you and move on.. I buzz cut it and it looks good. Well, as good as it can haha. *cry*
