Scarves

I'm just going to say that when I see pretty boys shirtless in scarves, my brain goes to the bondage place. And stays there. #pervert

Yes, during 'winter', when it gets so cool, the highs are only in the low 50s; most other Floridians call it, The Little Ice Age.

Besides the ones using it just for style, just the women, even when it gets cold it's very rare to see a man wearing one unless they're from Europe or Manhattan.

Except the ones using thin fabric scarves just for style; yes, I think it looks charming and cute if a guy wears a wool/flannel scarf with a jacket of course.
 
I love scarves in the winter. I'm getting a bit excited to bring out my scarves. My favorite is one I got from Asian hag a few years ago from Barney's. It's a striped cashmere scarf that I just love to pieces. It goes amazing well with this lightweight jacket that I have. Yes, Everyone should have at least one piece of cashmere clothing because of how awesome it feels.
 
Love both fashion and practical scarves.

Favorite is a Dr. Who scarf, about 2 lightyears long, from a distant time.

An Hermes scarf used as an ascot is nice for a day relaxing/shopping in the City, and will get you into almost any restaurant with a mandatory tie policy. I know it worked for Le Cirque and for Lutece, way back then.
 
we have no use for them here. even when it gets "cold".
 
bleeehhhhh i hate scarves, i find them stupid and useless. I also feel like 9 out of 10 times, it makes the person look way worse than actually enhancing their look. can't wait for these to go away! take off the effing pashmina or afghan or whatever they're called lol
 
I've never owned a scarf, and presumably never will. For whatever reason, my neck always remains the warmest part of my body in the cold.

Until last year, I lived in Texas where winter only lasts a couple of months, so I never owned a scarf. Or a hat. Or a pair of gloves. I think scarves are cute, tho. Skinny twinks who wear lip gloss look especially fetching in them. I've hooked up with a couple and insisted they keep the scarf on. lol
 
I'm not a great fan of accessories, but I get colds that don't end until spring if I don't wear scarves.
Mine come from the trash.
 
Only rarely, when the weather demands it. I have only one scarf these days, and it was a gift. During the periods I lived in colder climates I had more--perhaps three, and they were likewise gifts--all from women. I think women like to give men scarves.

BTW are you aware of THE SARTORIALIST blog? I think you'd find it entertaining and now and then inspiring. Or Bill Cunningham's pictures and videos in the New York Times?
