My God. Thank you, I was so excited to go to a gay club. I was excited about 7 or 8 times (I have such tenacity) nothing but migraine inducing techno or worse trance music. At that point I just wanted them to turn to a mainstream radio station and call it a night.


I love straight clubs. It could be I just hate dancing with guys I'm not sure. They play more urban music though, but then again you have way more drunk girls falling everywhere. Good thing for straight men though.

Yeah, that bothered me back in those days. I was 21, newly out and hitting up the club scene... and after a few shots of liquid courage, flirt with a cute guy and he's like "aww thanks, but I'm straight. I'm here with my lesbian friend..."

NOT COOL! ALL MEN IN GAY CLUBS SHOULD BE FAIR GAME! Selfish, I know. But if I get rejected in a gay club, I want to be rejected because I'm not your type... not because I'm the wrong gender for you. I can play that game every day of the week in the streets.

As for Scott being gay... never got that vibe. I always got the feeling he was just one of those straight guys who enjoy the company/atmosphere of gay guys/gay clubs.

Exactly. And shouldn't we be grateful that there are straight guys who are as comfortable in their sexuality/masculinity as Scott seems to be, and who don't revert to gay-panic reactions? I'm sure he enjoys the attention from gay men who find him attractive, but none of that makes him gay. If we keep perpetuating the assumption that men can't be comfortable with each other and affectionate with each without it necessarily indicating something definitive about their sexuality, then we're no better than homophobes.

And on the info area he mentions he will be well rested by April, which is when I'm assuming filming starts for that challenge.
