SE / Atlanta JUB Meet - MARCH 8th, 2008

St. Louis is a little far away, but really like the date is too close for my overstrained budget... I DEFINITELY want to do another JUB meet though!! My only regret is that I didn't get to spend as much time in conversation with more of y'all as I would have liked. Sam/martin 6 and jystar had such purty smiles all night long. Oak seemed really sweet despite a lil awkward miscommunication early on - never mind just seeing my words in print on the internet - sometimes they sound wrong coming out of my mouth! (Thanks for the great pictures, btw!)I was nervous about talking to outdoorboi sitting next to me at dinner because he was so cute I was afraid I would just gobble him up if i got started. plus I probably couldn't shut up about this plant or the other, probably boring everyone within 10' lol.

I MUST go ass-shakin' with Elvin1 sometime!!!! I MUST!!!

gentry and kennyworth have me thinking about a change in career. I DEFINITELY need a change in jobs right now because I am simply not really making ends meet right now. I figure trucking would be a good move as I like to travel around and see different places and as i'm single i wouldn't be leaving a lonely "spouse" at home, or be any lonelier out on the road than I am right now...

i mostly love just talking to different people and hearing their different stories - even the everyday stuff people normally don't think to tell because it's not an "exciting adventure" - and to hear those sorts of stories takes time...

I wonder if any folks would be interested in like a 10-day camp out sort of gathering? like the radical faeries i used to hang with would have at their communities? I bet the folks in Wolf Creek Oregon or the RFD people in Short Mountain Tennessee would welcome us onto their land if we schedule it right...

I'm GLAD that he decided to "skip" bowling and become the cheering section -- He made me laugh so hard that I could BARELY see the lane!!!

hi8 guys. i had such a great time. I'm still recovering. It was great meeting everyone. You guys really know how to party. I don't remember much after arriving at Burkharts. To the guys who didn't let me drive drunk, thanks so much.

I will tell Michael that you guys asked about him and get him to post.

We must do it again. I know I won't be able to make it to St. Louis but another ATL event would be great, maybe something Pride weekend.

god, i'm still putting screen names and faces together in my head - jav, you were such an awesome coach!! i'm so glad no-one expected me to really be a pro bowler or anything just cause i had my own ball (lol) I wouldn't know how to really BEGIN giving someone advice on how to bowl - and your idea about trying to "correct" for your compensation to pick up a spare really interested me...i don't know, though, if I should drink more beer or less when attempting to follow your advice? what's your advice on THAT?

Looks like you guys had a fantastic time... I'm bloody jealous I've got to tell you!!!! Thanks for the pics guys... talk about some talent all being in the one place at the one time!!!!

Its just awesome to see a group of strangers bond so quickly and easily... anyone who says that the internet doesnt bring people together or cant bring happiness is obviously not a member of this site!!!

And then to have some of the Big Kahuna's join you... well... it must have been a good night!!!!

A big congrats to you Vette... it looks like your hard work and dedication paid off a treat, without guys like you these sort of things dont ever happen! Well done mate!!!

OMG! With the time change, I was sooo tired today! I had so much fun, and no down time on Sunday. I think it all caught up with me today. I'd do it all over again. Meeting all you guys (and seeing the familiar ones) was nothing short of fantastic!

What a great turn out! Vette, you did a great job taking the initiative and organizing this. I'm very impressed! To all those that came - thanks so much. Even though I wasn't there, , it looks like you all had one heck of a night, and it's so nice to see JUBBERs get together. We have a great online community, and so far, we have a great offline one as well! Wish I could have met you all. You seem like a great bunch of guys! Next time though!

It sucked that you couldn't make the meet. Thanks for the kind words. I hope our timing is better for the next meet.
