CF and SC are very different sites, with different agendas.

Personally I agree with Andy69 (above), that Sean Cody ain't what it used to be back in the 'heady' days of Zack, Dylan, Adam, and Mr. Cody himself. But then -- what was that? 3 years ago? -- the whole phenomenon of 'st8/amateur' porn was new to me and I suspect to all of us.

But what the Cody site had back then was far more 'repeats'. Like Corbin Fisher, he brought his models along ('education' in CF vocabulary), each video teasing us just a little more. I can recall my heart skipping a beat when Zack went down on a guy, apparently for the first time. I'm sure it was all staged, but when I was caught up in the moment it seemed genuine as hell. Today on Sean Cody it's a revolving door. Most of the models are super hot, but a guy does one or two videos and that's the last we see of him. With CF, we know that we usually will get to see the guys do more with each other. They seem more genuinely into each other. CF even captures a degree of romance. We usually don't get this with SC videos. We are lucky to see the guys kiss or trade BJ's. I think that describes most porn actors, gay or straight. I mean, it's a job, after all.

But the CF boys generally seem to have fun, and keep their sense of humor about what they are doing. This playfulness comes across in the videos. 'Logan' in particular seems to have a great sense of humor: 'My, you have a big penis!' he says to Kurt, and later in the same video, as he about to get fucked 'My poor ass!' When it's over, and Kurt suggests a repeat, he says 'let's take time to reflect . . . ' It cracks me up every time, in part because these sound like things I might have said!

I think we've argued about 'gay' or 'bi' labels ad nauseum on here. My own thinking on the topic has evolved. At first I thought they must all be gay, but after accounting for my own wish fulfillment and projection, I came to accept that most are probably straight as advertised. I suppose they are technically 'bi', but no more so than we are all bisexual to some degree. It helps that they are all so good looking: if it came to the point, I think few straight guys would throw 'Dawson' out of bed: his beauty is arresting.

For porn to be hot/erotic, there needs to be some passionate lust involved. Early on, CF featured more guys who were either gay and out, or at least more frank about their curiosity: Ryan #1, Graden, Seth and Jeremy, Ethan, Wes, Trevor, Trae, Brenden, Zach, Toby, and of course AJ/Blu Kennedy. A lot of these guys were super hot, and the videos were intensely intimate. Then Logan, Lucas, and Dirk (whose allure has always escaped me) showed up, and CF started emphasizing the 'straight stud' stuff. This is when the site really took off.

I suspect the customers who were picked up subsequent to the advent of the 'straight stud' theme were largely bi-curious or closet cases who needed to delude themselves into thinking that they too were still primarily 'str8'. 'Hey, look at Lucas!' they probably said to themselves.

When a model's true sexuality becomes suspect, he looses his popularity. Based on what I was reading in this and in similar forums, Logan's appeal took a nose dive as more and more guys began to believe that he actually played for our team. Ironically, I think he is probably straight as advertised (tho' I for one would be real happy to have him on our side ) Brent, on the other hand, who I think really is gay, isn't subject the same censor as he's buff and has that butch military look going for him.
