As hot as Brandon is, I really don't think he's that great of a top. There's no real aggression or passion when he fucks. It's like he's just going through the motions and his body is just for show...This just further strengthens the argument that he needs to bottom ASAP

On an unrelated note, can anyone think of some of the hot "daddies" that have been featured on SC? The ones who come to mind for me are Dennis and Clint (who did a solo a while back). There may not be too many on the list since SC focuses on college jock types. Any suggestions on sites that do feature older guys who take care of themselves like the two I mentioned?

I actually think it means he's straight and bottoming ain't gonna improve his performances (which I don't think are bad)

These days Sean Cody doesn't emphasize 'collegiate' to the same degree as Corbin Fisher (whose muse still seems to be 'Abercrombie porn'). I'd say the average SC model these days is mid-to-late 20s and more openly 'curious'. Someone like Abe, who perhaps got bored with all the poon he'd been getting. Also lots of military like gentle-giant Ashton (their San Diego-based, after all). Even their younger guys SC gets seem a little more mature than their CF counterparts.

I've always admired SC for not having an age limit.

Since I've been a subscriber to both sites for 10 years, I've always appreciated the model selection of each site. SC usually offered models slightly older-college age up to late 20s and CF had models 18-22 or so and fit the "Abercrombie" or "college jock" type and most of the models on both SC and CF looked good and performed well. SC holds to that business model but I think it's been awhile since any CF model would be cast in an Abercrombie or college jock role. Few, maybe none, of the current CF models fit that image or measure up to previous models. That, imo, is why SC is blowing CF out of the competitive waters.

Totally agree about Brandon. When I first saw him I thought he looked amazing: handsome with a smoking hot body,he really stood out. But after watching his performances I realised they lacked a spark or excitement.

Brandon is sensual and a good top. But most of them are. They are also versatile. Among these guys he does not stand out for me. But he's not there too often to get overexposed and his fans like him. The guy that stands out for me would be Dean. And Eddie, I am going to keep an eye on him.
 
Just because a guy (in porn) is a top only doesn't mean he's "probably" straight. It is actually more common for a "straight" or rather bisexual guy to bottom because that is one thing he can't get from a woman. And quite a number of guys I've hooked up with wouldn't bottom if their life depended on it. I guess it's a form of excersising control and dominance over another guy. A gay "trait", which is often pushed aside due to the swishy portrayal of gay men in the media.

But I do have to say that his appeal is slowly dwindling in my eyes because now it's up to the bottom to allow him to get the full Brandon-treatment, and if they hold back the scene won't work. As one of the current veterans, he needs a change of pace or step out for a couple of months until some of the dynamic has shifted again.

Cory and Elliot (both 2011) were in their thirties. Pretty hot, too. I wish they had more older men, post-25.

Cory and Elliot (both 2011) were in their thirties. Pretty hot, too. I wish they had more older men, post-25. Cory also did two Jake Cruise videos as "Christian Kennedy," where he was massaged, blown, and rimmed. He reminded me of Matthew McConaughey. Similar looks/voice and same laid back, surfer type attitude.

More often than not, they do. Late teens/early twenties. I'm so sick of these twink-types. I haven't renewed my subscription in a long time, because the updates (even the duos) have been rather uninspired. Why can't SC get Fratmen-quality models? Now, those look like real collegiate jocks! Not to mention they're masculine.
 
Brandon wouldn't be able to handle that. The one I would love to see paired with Abe is Curtis, if they could also get him back. That would be an explosion.
 
Eddie looks different without the beard, I prefer his look from the solo, but at least he did not touch the body hair.
