We need to stop acting like he did something wrong or that we did something wrong by enjoying his work. He was 18. He needed the money. He was very very good. Noel made mention in a scene that he was in high school and the other scene partner liked the idea of it. SC was definitely aware.

Actually, it's a good thing. People like the principal and those idiot schoolmates need to understand that there are real people behind those porn performers and that they are actually ruining their life by actions like unwanted exploitation. "Noel" is already exposed and judging by his supportive mother they could take a chance to speak out against discrimination against sex workers, especially within the gay adult area.

I hope the guys over at SC are providing them with a brilliant lawyer.

In this internet age that we're living in, you can not perform in porn if you don't want anyone to find out. Even if you use a different name, people can still see what you look like! They can still recognize you! I'm not at all worried about other models being "outed," because they're not hiding in any way. I could understand if you were working in porn thirty years ago, but this is 2014. That is the risk these models are taking these days. If they didn't want anyone to find out, they shouldn't have done it in the first place.

I'm glad that "Noel" took the stance that he did. He's not apologizing for his porn work and isn't ashamed. He's not acting like what he did was bad or wrong. And, as I said earlier, it's great to see the support he's received from his mother and classmates. He seems like a guy with a good head on his shoulders. And I'm so happy that he can return to school!!

Yeah. Let's just be happy that this whole thing got sorted out before it escalated into something uglier. It would be pretty badass if he continued to work for the site!! :D

I just hope he's being as safe as possible. Barebacking in porn is a pretty high risk behavior, regardless of the testing method.
 
The part of this story that surprised me was that after he was suspended, his fellow students staged a walkout and other protests to support him.

Wow. It's a better class of HS kids today, I tell ya. He must have been pretty popular before this came out.

I expect the bullying may dry up, now that everyone knows that the student body is behind him.

I'd been feeling horrible about this, since I really loved "Noel"'s work and he was paying such a terrible price...but here's a happy ending. And happier than the best outcome I thought was possible, since the other students took his side. It's heartwarming instead of heartbreaking!
 
I can't imagine what it's going to be like for him between now and May. Every time he talks to someone he'll be thinking "this person may have watched me getting fucked on camera by a variety of different guys."

But then, I can't imagine much of anything about what it's like to be in high school in 2014. In 1977 (the year *I* graduated) no one would have known why he wasn't in school there anymore; he would have just quietly disappeared. And there would have been no interest from the local news, no lawyer willing to take his case, certainly no student walkout.

It's a better world. And back in the late '70s and early '80s, I did my part to help build that world, and I'm VERY happy that it exists now. It's what we worked for. But I can't imagine what it's like for the kids today.

It's not just the US. Over here in the UK, there was a nasty little case a few years ago where a teacher was outed by one of his pupils using English Lads. It was pretty pathetic - the teacher broke no laws, no one asked just what the fuck the boy hoped to achieve. To be frank, Western society needs to grow the fuck up a bit in relation to porn.
 
Here's the thing about porn,many people will rip apart the people that do it while refusing to admit they get off to it.
 
I read a book called "Zach's Secret" by Matthew W. Grant that has a storyline remarkably similar to this. I liked the book a lot and recommend it.
 
The story just ran on my local news in South Florida. I was a bit surprised to see it down here. I am glad he is able to return to school

To those wondering his plans after school are to enlist in the army * I got that from MOP * so I'm not outting him that is just in case anyone was wondering his after high school plans.

From what I can remember, the going rate for a bottoming scene for SC was between 4-5k. I think Rylan said he got $45,000 in total from them (and he did like 10 scenes, iirc) in one of the interviews he did after he left. No idea if that's still what they're usually paid - those figures are from when they still used condoms. The newer defectors from SC who later did interviews have been more tight lipped about the pay scale.

As for the Noel question, I have no idea.
