Yeah...I prefer the one that Jack did with Porter. It was a more intense internal. It's been 3 updates since SC last did an internal. I really hope they don't have these gaps again! It's really anti-climatic when the tops pull out and jack off.

Typically SC's MO is to have one internal and one pull-out/JO/'creampie, the latter to satisfy fans who need so 'see' the money shot. SC usually films on two days so they can provide two fucks -- CF could never pull this off.

Personally I prefer the internals, especially when the splooge drips out with withdrawal. But with some guys that doesn't seem to happen: Dean's 1st internal w/Dusty, for example. The camera is focused on the bottom's hole, waiting for the discharge which doesn't come. I'm pretty sure that round trip air fare is included in the compensation package even for the newbies. I believe that several of the performers even mention it as part of the attraction of working for SC. Even Bryan from CM mentions the hassle and expense of arranging air fare for his performers so much so that he even mentions the fact when someone is a local as a consideration for work. It's obviously cheaper to hire locals. CF as well mentioned early on about the expense of flying guys out, I believe. What CF does now is anybody's guess but given the quality of the newbies lately I suspect there has been some cost cutting going on there.

A comment about Marc since he is one of my favorites - I'm in the camp of "he's learned to relax and simply enjoy himself" more because of the personality he projects than anything else. He strikes me as someone who isn't quite comfortable with his physical attractiveness or is even insecure about it. That is something I find amazing since for me he ranks pretty close to the top of my favorites in the simple attractiveness category. I've known a few guys like this in my life both gay and straight and for me he fits that profile. A great or enthusiastic performer he ain't but he is getting better. As for his sexual orientation I think he is in that heteroflexible category, i.e. is basically straight but has learned that he can enjoy it in the right circumstance which mostly means getting paid for it. However, I think in the right circumstance he would go for it without financial inducement. I just wish he would stop shaving his body which is really beautiful au naturel.

New scene - Dennis and Randy. I know a lot of people don't like Dennis, but I'm still a fan. He's been around for five years, which I think is a record for SC performers, he's done 23 films, he's intelligent and articulate, he still looks great, and he is totally enthusiastic and into every scene he does. How can you not love that?

Dennis is one of my favourite SC models of all time. His attitude alone is great (as you said, he's always enthusiastic, always quite charming, and he's very smart and well spoken) ... and he is hot. Great body, handsome face, and he just seems like such a nice guy.

He was talking about there not being many guys who identify as gay where he lives and his statement was closer to when he sees someone possibly checking him out (apparently at the gym), he flexes, and if he confirms they are checking him out, he then said "yeah dude, you're totally checking me out right now". He came across as possibly a good guy, has a gay cousin with a boyfriend, and calling anyone out as gay would be "an asshole thing to do". I think there may have been some other questions earlier that were edited out that possibly confirmed he is gay. I hope he comes back soon!

PhSp, your indignation is refreshing but I think you misinterpreted what Prescott said. Like Jake I didn't hear him as being douchy at all, quite the contrary, and I came to the same conclusion than Jake that he might very well be gay himself.

Physically Reid is very bland and insipid to me and I can't say I am impressed by his performance nor his technique. For me he lacks any form of sexual charisma.
I like Duncan though, always a pleasure to see him. He does what he can to rekindle things a bit but to no avail. The scene never takes off and stays very average, IMO.

Brandon's article is very interesting indeed. He makes a strong, heartfelt point.
My first comment is that Samuel Stone, Brandon's boyfriend, is seriously, but seriously HOT! Totally my type, the kind I want to do all sorts of dirty things with (or to ).
I'd love to get his own report on how the shooting Brandon mentions went. I actually saw the scene, it's not great but it is not bad porn either. Besides Samuel, there is this new "armoire à glace" type guy (tall and beefy), emphatically G4P and frankly not convincing. He is supposed to be that fuck machine who drills any hole in front of him but, although they try to hide it, he has obvious wood problems. In the disastrous instances that Brandon recalls from his past experiences, producers and directors have also a big responsibility in terms of what kind of climate they establish onset and what kind of behavior they tolerate or condone.
And finally, let's not forget that there are also tons of awful porn done with gay guys. If you don't believe it, go to that Jason Sparks site, every single clip is just the example of the stiffest, direst and most boring sex you can imagine, and they are all 100% gay.

I think you and others make too much of this straight fetish thing. Though I agree that for some this is real and somewhat generationally driven, nonetheless the primary reason that there continues to be g4p is that whether we like it or not a larger percentage of the straight population display the male characteristics that most of us find sexually attractive. It is not to say that they don't exist in the gay community. They do and even sometimes leaning to the almost hyper masculine caricatures of some gay porn. There are 3 primary characteristics - clearly defined male anatomy, clearly defined male mannerisms, and clearly defined male personality - that define mainstream gay porn. They are the same criteria that straight men use when defining purely sexual attractiveness (remember we're talking porn here not making some grand observation about human sexuality) only inverted. Simply combining the facts that there are a lot more straight men than there is of us with the fact that a higher percentage of them display the required characteristics for porn (idealized sexuality) goes a long way toward explaining the continuing reality of g4p. I would also add the probable reality that most gay men who have the characteristics required have better options and perhaps a bit more self respect than to do porn. Also there is the forbidden aspect of sexuality much like straight men looking at ridiculously beautiful women they know they will never have sexually. A straight fetish analysis just doesn't explain as much as it seems to on the surface and is a bit too facile for me.
