I've been a member of Sean Cody for some years now, and I'm honestly getting a bit worried that the website is on a downward slide. Anyone else?

What I've observed: Solo videos with only one cumshot are becoming the norm (and are also shorter in duration). The website "Sean Cody Reviews" folded. The caliber of guys has fallen (or my tastes are changing).

If you look at the other competing websites, like randy blue, corbin fisher, even Chaos Men, they've all evolved beyond just solo and sex vids and are certainly more into building and maintaining a clientele with live shows, blogs, interviews, etc. Sean Cody sadly, hasn't really changed since it's conception. On one hand, it's nice to have a porn site that isn't so self-aware that they have to put on videos for holidays or give voice to the people behind the cameras, but with the quality of the guys and the sex getting worse, Sean Cody has got to change things. Most of all, get better scouts!

I hate to be a downer on this, but it's been in my mind with every disappointing update and I was curious what others thought. Again, maybe my tastes have changed and I should just move on, but I don't think it's just me. I really hope Sean Cody turns things around!

^ Yes your taste have changed but so does alot of our taste. and if you have to move on then more power to you. Maybe you should e-mail SC and let them know of the changes you want to see. As fro Sean Cody reviews folding I think that was probably the editors of that website not having aenough time to update ,but then that is just my opinion. SC is better than Corbin Fisher for sure...they dont do any bareback which is good as that's not very nice to see, the guys are also hotter than RB. Sc's guys are fine (always buff). I wish a few of them would stick around a little longer. Sc's production is good (lighting, camera angles, etc) and the web site is well managed, but Sc has two problems: #1) they need to mix it up a bit. It has gotten stale. SC has about three "recipes" for their videos. It's no wonder everyone thinks that the models look the same, when all you do is substitute a different model into the same old plot line. The last time SC ventured more than 15 miles from their studio was Hawaii and that was two years ago, back in '09.

And problem #2) the production crew never shoots more than two minutes without a noticeable break in the action - two minutes of fucking on the bed, cut, two minutes of fucking against the wall, cut, upside down on the chair with semi hard wood, cut, (repeat 5x), cut, three seconds before someone cums with solid wood, long quiet pause, cut, second guy cums, quiet pause #2, fade to black. Block the whole scene before you start and then just turn the cameras on and let us watch the action.

You're dead right about it getting a bit stale. The guys are always either fucking in the gym or in the bedroom. I don't see why they can't film outside, in a car, sauna, jacuzzi etc.

Also we need more group scenes. I'd also like to see more models hang around longer.

On an other note, does anybody know whatever happened to Dan? He did a solo and one sex scene in early 2009. Did he ever do any work for any other websites since? I really liked him. Here are some pictures of him:
