  • Hi Guest - Did you know?

Sean Hannity at Fox News...BUSTED!!!

^ would also be good philosophy to apply to most things that come from "Inside the Beltway" also

i listen to Hannity ... and Limbaugh .... and O'Reilly ....

and Rachel Maddow ... Lou Dobbs ... James Carvill ...

AND KNOW WHAT ? .... THEY ALL LIE

and when caught in the lie .... all spin and deny

my philosophy: Listen to all of them .... believe none of them ... make up my own mind

I watch Rachel Maddow on line a lot. She backs up everything she says. How can you say she is lying when she always has a video, report, ect. to show what she is talking about?

I also watch/listen to Hannity ... and Limbaugh .... and O'Reilly at times. They hardly ever show proof of anything. At best they show something that could be truth if shown all the way, but it is more up to what you think on the subect than truth.

You're going to see what you want to see, just like someone on the Right will see what they want to see. Both of you can throw facts and figures to bolster your respective argument, but in the end, you need to come to your own conclusion, trust your gut instinct, and go from there.

Execpt if one shows proof and the other doesn't. There is a big difference between agreeing with someone that has proof and agreeing with someone that doesn't. That has nothing to do with politics, just bias.

If it's Hannity, it's not news it's commentary. It's like saying John Stewart is news. He's not.

But Jon Stewart's show actually does research. They're pretty much news without calling themselves news. And that's what's killing Fox News and to a certain extent, CNN and MSNBC.

^I KNOW. WHEN I SAW IT, I WAS LIKE GAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

Hannity is a propagandist.

He's not the only one on Fox News who is.

Several at MSNBC are, as well. And even CNN.

Shocking, I know.

Jon Stewart is a comedian and his show is on Comedy Central. He uses a wide range of footage from both left and right to get laughs. There's always plenty of material. This is just one more.

Thanks for the heads up. When I watch programming from the Comedy Network I never know what to expect.

And being a liar is like being a slut. You're branded with your said sin when you're caught.

why this sudden urge for lapin and carrot friccasee?

Your confusion is not unique.

When Americans were asked in a 2007 poll by the Pew Research Center for the People and the Press to name the journalist they most admired, Mr. Stewart, the fake news anchor, came in at No. 4, tied with the real news anchors Brian Williams and Tom Brokaw of NBC, Dan Rather of CBS and Anderson Cooper of CNN.

To reiterate: Jon Stewart is not a journalist and he is not a news anchor.

Jon Stewart is a comedian.

Ah but you see our culture has made sin into virtue and virtue into sin, and that has consequences.

One man's slut is another's hot babe.

One man's liar is another man's hero.

And the sword cuts both ways.

Or hadn't you noticed?

I am surprised all of you didn't catch the fact that Hannity apologized tonight for mixing the wrong footage on the story you made reference to.

He also thanked Stewart and his writers for wartching FOX and his show :) lol and catching it.

Not exactly. He said "oops... we played the wrong footage by mistake"

But he left out "We were yet again trying to inflate numbers of the crowds and used erroneous footage to mislead viewers." He didn't admit they used footage of a larger crowd.

We can think this is funny but it's very serious. When a "news" agency is intentionally misleading viewers to sway their political opinions, democracy is being attacked. This isn't something to laugh about. This is undermining the political discourse in this country.
