Seattle Waterfront Park Grand Opening

It's kind of a joke around town because the Seattle Waterfront has been open since 4 July 2025, but we take as many "Grand Openings" as the city sends us.
The weather was beautiful on Opening Day Saturday, 6 September 2025, but in my opinion the best time to visit is in the evening at sundown!

 
Wonderful.

It is good to see Cities and States still creating and celebrating community spaces while the federal government seems obsessed with making them sterile or closing them down altogether.
 
The city held a Party-at-the-Pier on the Waterfront for football opening season.
