Address your alcohol issues before you start worrying about your sexuality. When you're drunk you won't come across as your real self and you'll be an inadequate lover.

Now to address "maybe I don't deserve to be with a guy" theme going through your head. I'd have to say that me personally....If I'm just meeting you for the first time in bar or wherever and you find me hot and come up to introduce yourself....drunk. I don't care if you look like the greek god of love....Having a drunk guy hit on you is the worst...they're not attractive at all buddy! :) Now I know your super shy like me so I'd like to suggest that the next time you go to this gay bar you order one shot of whiskey. Just one shot. It won't get you drunk but it will loosen you up a little so that your more approchable to guys! Then once you get "comfortable" you won't even need the drink anymore.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself! I swear.....Your Six foot something HUGE! and thin and have a great personality when your not afraid to show it! Gee, plus your a walking hard on for most ppl here on JUB. Your outta my league! So stop worrying and just enjoy your new life! The B/F thingy will come when it's time!
