Secretary Clinton extends Same Sex Benefits

a lot of Clintons second term was tons of executive orders. in truth, it was because he had a hostile congress his second term.

and executive orders can be reversed on a whim by the next president...hence the sarcasm.....

.....its kinda odd that people keep bring up how the democrats hold the house and senate for the most part...but the CIC shoulders all the blame....hilarious i know

The President is the #1 guy in charge.
What happened to the blame game since Bush left office?
What is hilarious is saying it's every one elses fault-except the presidents.
As to the executive orders,Did you notice Obama kept some that Bush passed?
You may not know, But I share your sarcasm, Obama is just another politician.

do you live in your own little world....the whole governments to blame....i never stated other wise...but i see you brought the blanket to the party...you have no idea where i stand on bush (or obama for that matter)...i think anyone who says their a staunch democrat or republican nowadays is offbase....but well just say your right...and you can jump up and down in victory

I completely agree with you.
The Republicans are for family values- (not), and lower taxes- (for the rich).
Democrats are for the poor and disenfranchised- But never seem to do anything to help them.
My point on the President is that he set himself a high standard to live up to in his campaign, And I hear a lot of excuses.
Anyway this is going off topic, Maybe you could start a new post.

nah...this thread has been off topic....and both parties are about power nowadays....ill believe otherwise when i see it....and obama...its early...hes has 3.5 more years to get me to change my opinion

please....you screaming obama and change is bullshit.....hes a politician...get over it...he said what he needed to win....any other politician would do the same...

Obama and his supporters said he is not any other politician, that was the point. It didn't matter that more experienced better qualified people with better plans were up for the job, what mattered was that he was going to bring change.

That's the central promise he was elected on. Citizens voted for that.

It is reasonable to point out that either he was lying then or he is failing now in that regard, and to judge his actions, including how they contradict his words. He promised, for example, to repeal DOMA in its entirety, and now he's not only failed to take any action on that, he's erased it from the agenda posted on the White House website.

It's also appropriate to note that his opponent in the Primaries is now, within the boundaries of her power as Secretary of State, fulfilling her promise to extend equal partner benefits to same sex couples -- while this is not happening anywhere else in Obama's government.
