Seducing straight guys over webcam.

It is possible. If it happens to one person it could just as easily happen to others. Being straight does not protect one from the shame of having such a thing done to him. In fact a straight person would have it worse, worrying that people will think he is something he is not. If a gay person can acknowledge who/what he is, the "shame" is gone from the situation.

But again, apparently straight guys just don't matter. I grow tired of your trolling. There is no way you can actually be so dense as to not see the corner you have backed yourself into defending the "rights" of gays to do to straight guys what the gay community insists is a hate crime when done to gays.

If we're going to insist it be a hate crime in one direction it needs to be a hate crime in all directions. Keep it equal across the board.

A point, however, that you fail to see is a dumb one. Which is why I brought up the cat. It was moronic - the fact that Willie Boy fell into a trap with no teeth doesn't say much, if anything at all.

I live in the state of Georgia, where there is (for instance) a three year old case brought back up about a guy formerly on a4a that was murdered by a guy pretending to be gay - what started out as a robbery became a murder; a cold case. So, hate crime. Murder. Yes, i'm aware it doesn't always happen, but maybe you should do some research before speaking?

I always knew there were a lot of serious moral issues at work here but in spit te of that, I went on to have long encounters with many straight guys on cam by posing as a woman. I did feel a little guilty sometimes but at the end of the day, not anywhere near guilty enough to stop.

You're right, lakeronk14, it's a morally difficult issue. On the one hand, it's wrong to lie and deceive someone for your own sexual kicks. On the other hand, this is 2011. Everybody knows the internet is full of fakes; if these guys are willing to suspend their disbelief and cam for you, well, what's the practical (as opposed to ethical) harm?

After a while, though, is it really worth the lying and fear of discovery? And what if you end up chatting with the guy more than once and find yourself developing feelings for him? (Even worse: He starts to develop feelings for your female alter ego. That would be awfully hard to live with ...)

Posting pics or vids of your encounter really crosses a line because it makes the deception public and takes it out of the realm of something just for your own private enjoyment, with no one the wiser, and puts it out there for others' amusement.

It's also wrong to steal an innocent woman's pictures for this purpose, especially since you have no control over what your "friend" will do with them.

That said ... I'm amazed at the amount of moralizing and holier-than-thou attitudes on this topic. "What if they commit suicide?" Jeez, give me a break! What if the guy I flipped off on the freeway commits suicide? What if the barista I accidentally forgot to tip commits suicide? What a load of overly emotional crap! When you cam with someone, you have no guarantee that the pics/video won't turn up somewhere, even if the person you're camming with is exactly who they say they are. Ask Anthony Weiner about that. If you don't want to take the risk, don't go on cam.

One final point: For those who say "go find someone who really wants to cam with the 'real you'," remember that the entire point of this deception is to be with a straight guy. Some gay men are attracted to straight men just because they're straight. Telling them to cam with other gay guys misses the point completely.
 
dudes, why this argument? anyone who gets on cam with another person (guy or girl) and do sexual things need to know that with technology, there's always a possibility of it leaking or not being private.

ethical or not - it'll always be debatable. but legal wise? if it is leaked without their permission, thne yes it's illegal.

besides, from my experience, (i recorded str8 guy's cam since i was like 17, but chat and get their nudei mages since i was 14) it seems strange, but alot of the str8 guys are more than happy to do it. dunno why, but they dont seem to probe deep to see if the person is really who they say it is.
