Seeing the doctor today

Ok, so I had my surgery at 9am this morning, and upon taking a peek at it, I am not swollen in that area. I am also (surprisingly to me) not in alot of pain (of course the meds are probably helping with that! ;-D). Can't shower till Friday though (which is when I can take off the bandage) and I have to wear that sling for about 6 weeks. The tighty whities for at least 8 weeks or until healed.
 
Wow, that sounds greaat!

Good luck on the healing process, I hope things stay allright from now on.

I was finally able to take off the bandage today! Yet another step on the healing process! ;-D
 
Saw my doctor today, and the sterry strips are off! The "sling" is off! and I've been given the o.k. to go back to normal, with a but. Try it, but if I hurt because of it, stop because it's too early to do "that". I was kind of excited to be able to pick up my daughter without worry! :-D
