Self Defense For LGBT

I swear to god i just replied to this, and it was good to. You goin have to wait.

I don't understand. You mean you wrote a reply to this, but don't see it now? And don't have time to write it again?

If so, that's understandable. Do write it at some point though.

.....Your avatar is disturbing. Its some creepy shit

:D :D :D Thank you! It's actually just a detail from a photo of my face. But coming from someone with a "head leaking orange and green goo" avatar, that's a real compliment!

I fully agree with the OP. Not so much for self-defense (which would be of limited use, except in very particular circumstances) but for the self-confidence. The 17yo lesbian daughter of some acquaintances of mine has a black belt in karate, and nobody, but nobody, fucks with her.

Self-defense is great, and I know a few people who are trained in it. I personally just prefer the "carry a weapon" method myself. I have access to brass knuckles, large knives, swords, cane swords, et cetera. Not so into guns, knives are much easier to control for a person who only wants to disable and not kill. If I ever get jumped again, people will get cut. I will go for permanent disability spots too, like tendons on arms.

I find that just faced with the threat that I would actually do that if people swing at me, they tend to stop in their tracks. Even if it's two or three at a time. But I've probably got training most don't have, so when I got jumped unexpectedly the first time, I learned real quick that complacency is the worst form of unprepared.

Nobody fucks with me either, but I'm not happy about it.

("Críostóir, he means no one tries violence against her.")

Oh. Never mind.
