Selling out to be president

I started the thread and then didn't post further - have read through - I fail to see what the problem is and thus mystified I shall consider withdrawing from here because I cannot follow what the rules are when I can't figure out what the objections are - seemed like a decent conversation to me

Well, the posts with the personal attacks have been deleted, so the thread should appear as though there are no problems. It took a while to go through all the nasty posts, but they are gone.

Seems to me like the NY Times has it's sights on John McCain

Ready fire aim

This is the same NY Times that made the recent successful battle in Najaf seem less than that - that seemed to have a difficult time dealing with a "victory" in Iraq

McCain is the goods

I hope the assassins don't have their way

Are you unaware that hundreds of articles and columns have been written about that battle -- the NYT is merely one newspaper that's reporting the same confusion that most others are reporting.

There are only two things certain about what happened there. One, there is no substantiating evidence to support the official version of events. And two, when our government put out a report about what happened every major newspaper including the New York Times published those reports as fact without getting a single eyewitness account. Subsequent revelation that the Iraqi and American government reports were not verifiable was first picked up, in the American press, by Reuters, not the New York Times.

The assassins work for McCain now.

If Falwell-ass-kissing McCain is "the goods," give me "the bads."
