Oh sorry, that's one of the gems that someone said about Cheney being in a wheelchair. I wouldn't wish anyone ill, no matter how much I disagree with them. I hope Sen. Kennedy makes it through the brain tumor.

Resignation was my first thought.
It also brings to mind another idea: rather than term limits, mandate that once a congresscritter has gotten over $250 million in pork (earmarks, etc.) for his/her state... game over.

Doesn't change the fact that Byrd is a grand kleagle. Thurmond was a democrat when he was a segregationist, as soon as he choosed to become republican he became pro civil rights, hiring black staff in the 60s before most other senators. No current Republican was ever in the KKK!

David Duke was shunned by the GOP. And Kulinduhr, duh I mean members of Congress (or any higher elected office minus city councilmen of a village). I'm sure there are plenty of any political party in a varitey of hate groups.

Really? Come down to FL. I'll take you out to a place called Milton, where in the woods behind my grandmother's house, they meet every two weeks. When I was little, I used to find reasons not to go to my grandmother's house because I was terrified of being murdered.
Also, I'll drive you to the Alabama line and leave you in the car, and you can set the cruise control down a country road in the middle of nowhere and tell me there ain't a fire burning a cross in the chilly weather...

HAH! we're not here to discuss his private life, but all he does is make personal attacks based on people's private life. isn't that something? My guess is he's an older guy who is racist in his sexual preferences (this is something marley and I agree on) and probably also ageist against his own peer group.
