I think, think, I said, I'd go with an off white. Somewhere between the white of your vinyl widows and the ivory of electric switch plates. I like the floor.

The furniture is brand new.I take back the "gay" thing: the furniture looks stained
But it does look not as redneck as, for example, that other pic above... even if it's glossy redneck style: therefore, it qualifies as slightly "European"![]()
Yes. I’m going to paint over the wood. Only the bow window has wood trim. It was done when I had the window put in. All the rest of the trim in the house is painted. It’s original from 1945 so it’s solid wood trim and doors. I never liked the unpainted wood. No I wasn’t planning on painting the vinyl windows themselves.
That might be a good choice if you are bringing more natural wood into the room. It would definitely go well with the new flooring. Just make sure it's bronzy enough. What do you think about an aged bronze color on the trim? Around the doors and base molding?

If you could post a larger pic with the contrast to dark gray, I think it would be easier to say. It might look like wrought iron if not warm enough brown. What do you think about an aged bronze color on the trim? Around the doors and base molding?

No/\ /\ Are you planning on doing a two step process?
They're easy enough to do, but on more intricate areas such as 4-5" woodwork it might get tedious.
Yeah, that looks much better than the aged bronzed cupboard handle. Nice color. Goes with the flooring.
Wait, what? You painted the wall gray and it was blue? The horrors.![]()
