So, I just got back from watching the new SATC movie. Let me just say that I loved it. I've got Carrie fever. I was never a die-hard fan but, when I did watch the show, I always enjoyed it. The movie itself pretty much rocked--especially the scenes with Jason Lewis, and Samantha's hot neighbor. Did anyone else get a chance to see it, yet?

I went and saw it earlier today as well. It was amazing, and I absolutely loved it! So much hot man candy, it was great! Especially the cock shot of Samantha's neighbor. :p I also thought that Steve has a really cute butt. Haha!

I loved the movie so much that I'm going to go see it again next week! :D

As far as the movie goes....Definite must see flick for those of us romantic at heart. All the typical drama you would expect. The funny thing is how well it displays relationships and their issues. Me and my bf just returned from the show and we decided he is Carrie with the sexual drive of Samantha (That and I swear he wanted ovaries when he saw the wedding dreses).
I on the other hand am much more the devoted steve that likes to pretend he is the cool hand of Mr. Big.

Enjoy the show and if your in a relationship i bet you can find your traits.
 
I LOVED it. It was everything I hoped it would be. Although, I do wish they had used Stanford and Anthony a bit more. I especially wanted to find out what happened to Marcus.
 
Just saw it and liked it, Samantha still rules but I really liked Cynthia Nixon's meltdown scenes.
 
I've heard really mixed reviews. As expensive as movies are getting I'd rather just wait until it comes on HBO ;)

If you were a fan of the show, don't hesitate to see it. It's the perfect continuation of the series and if you liked the series, you'll like the movie, guaranteed. Most of the bad reviews come from people who don't view it from that perspective. The movie was made for fans of the show and no one else.
 
If it were for the fans ONLY why not just produce it via HBO and have it an HBO movie instead of releasing it to the public?

I liked sex and the city, but after the reruns it got really tired of it.

After a while you get tired of it all.
 
It made almost $30 million just on Friday and just in the US. It's projected to bring in at least $70 million for the domestic weekend box office and there have already been talks of a sequel for weeks. I guess releasing it to theaters wasn't too bad of an idea.
 
While I didn't love it I still thought it was good...| Some of the women in my theater were going nuts from beginning to end.lol

I have the theme song that Fergie did still stuck in my head.

 
I'm a huge fan. I gotta go see it regardless of the negative review by some critics. My friend never saw it. He finally caught it on TBS and he was hooked. He bought the whole first season and and I think he bought the rest of the seasons.
 
If you loved the tv series - and I did - you will love the movie - which I did. The script is very intelligent and it was like a glorious 2 1/2 hour episode and I wished it just wouldn't have ended. It went some places I didn't expect and that was great. I hope to see it again next week.

I did miss finding out what happened to Marcus.
 
I never watched Sex and the City but I was fully entertained the entire movie. I didnt even realize how long it was.
 
I saw it and totally loved every second of it! I thought it did the series justice. I loved the fact that it allowed the girls to mature.

I hated most of the outfits though! God, I wanted to die! Some of them was really made me gasp! Miranda had the best outfits although Charlotte (who was really funny) had the best bride's maid dress.

But J-Hud was amazing in her role. She looked gorgeous.

Great movie! Can't wait to see it again!
