my bf and i have decided to have sex...we re both virgins and have decided to not use a condom...is there a risk for STDs even though we are both virgins?

Yes.

Why don't you both go and get an STD screen? Better safe than sorry.

And while you're at it, get immunized for hepatitis. All sexually active gay men should.

Don't assume he's a virgin. I'm not saying don't trust him but this is health. Use tests as safety stopgap. Use a condom. Remember it's your health - be very selfish about this.

^^QFT

The term "virgin", even when the person is being honest, is used very loosely these days.

If you're old enough to have sex, then you're old enough to take responsibility for your health and the health of your partner.

That means using condoms.

That means when someone tells you they're "clean" or they were "just tested" or they're a virgin, you still use condoms.

no but i kno 100% that we r both virgins...both of us have never done anything with a guy before...other than with each other...and hes never had sex with a girl and neither have i. lets just say that no ones lying and 2 vigin men have sex..is there still chance for STDs or no when they r both virgins 100%

Yes you can catch something, evena urinary tract infection is possible and is more comon than not.

So as you both start out to have sex, you should both use condoms for a while especially for anal. Oral is safer but not 100% safe.

You are talking about your life here, any thing is possible, are you both willing to risk that just becus you believe each other.

imagine this: somewhere along the line one of you gets a infection of some sort, are you going to ask this question again--I dont think so.

play safe.....it's your life.. or is everyone that is going to respond to your post going to be wrong on this??? ask your self that...

Yes, there is still a chance.

Just because it can be transmitted sexually doesn't mean sex is the only way it can be transmitted.
